This letter is in reference to customer [redacted] [redacted] came into our dealership July, [redacted] and agreed on pricing and purchased a KIA SportageHe had some concerns with the pricing of the vehicle that were addressed with Sales Manager Efrain F [redacted] Customer then tried to have the same conversation with the new Salesperson Issa T [redacted] (who is is actually no longer with us)Issa tried to assist [redacted] to his best abilityHe was not in the office at the time of his conversation with [redacted] We here at Yonkers KIA are very strict when it comes to sensitive matter such as credit, credit scores, payments, etcWe ask of the sales department to not address any concerns with the customer regarding terms of deal after having sat with a any management such as Sales Manager, Finance Managers, or myself as the General ManagerAs salesperson has no authority over any terms and or decisions agreed upon by said managementEfrain F [redacted] had separate conversation with customer on the year of the carAt that point [redacted] agreed on the newly redesigned new model year As we know manufactures aggressively look to move inventory when a new design is offered via manufacturer rebates and dealer cash incentives.We are not able to take rebates offered on a and apply them on a This was discussed in the conversation that took place between [redacted] and MrF [redacted] , hence MrT [redacted] not being able to accurately discuss any terms agreed upon with [redacted] and MrF [redacted] On July [redacted] [redacted] returned to the dealership and I Darwin O [redacted] offered him options to either return the vehicle and take a with all the agreed upon options, or take a Sportage with the agreed upon options without AWD, or keep the vehicle and the vehicle will be discounted $and [redacted] would receive a check for $ [redacted] choose the option of keeping the vehicle and the vehicle will be discounted $and [redacted] would receive a check for $This matter has been resolved and the customer has received his check of $and the vehicle has been discounted for the agreed amount of $ The review that was left online was typed out as it was being narrated by [redacted] Our process is to write it out and have the customer review it, and if content sign and give back to manager to assist in the posting of said reviewPlease see signed attached documents showing the renegotiation between [redacted] and ITo satisfy the [redacted] , I Darwin O [redacted] (general Manager of Yonkers KIA) have agreed on the amount of $of a refund [redacted] then came back a third time and spoke with me, and I agreed to give him an extra $and adding the extra featuresPlease keep in mind that we do acknowledge that [redacted] came back a third time and we agreed to give him $100.There was an error with the accounting department with getting that check out to [redacted] , but the check has been issued and mailed out to [redacted] We do apologize for any inconvenience that may have causedIn reference to the added features, [redacted] will simply have to return and have them installed Sincerely,

There was a solution to this manner that was discussedYonkers KIA informed *** that she could put more money down and we can lower her payments, *** agreed and wanted to make this happen*** tried to use a card to make the down payment of a person that is as she said “blind and unable to come in for ID verification”Yonkers KIA informed her that we can’t just swipe someone card without them being presentWe asked her if we can speak with the person over the phone and she said no that is not possibleYonkers KIA then let *** *** know that what she is asking us to do is in fact illegal and she would have to find a valid way to get us the down payment because this we can’t doSincerely, *** ***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved contingent on receiving the check for $360.  I was told that it was being mailed out on Tuesday.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I got into a lease with Yonkers Kia for 3 years. 7 months before the maturity of my lease Yonkers kia sent me a letter saying that they were willing to wave my 7 months only if I got into a new lease. I did so, got into a new lease only this time I put the lease under my daughters name. My sales person told me that was perfectly ok as long as we proved that we lived in the same address. Now Yonkers finance wants to charge me for those 7 months, after I returned the car and I got into a new lease with them. The sales person got fired two weeks after he closed the deal with me and Yonkers Kia says they are not responsible for anything he said or did. Now I have the new lease payments plus they want me to pay for the payments left on the car I returned.

[redacted] choose the option of keeping the vehicle and the vehicle will be discounted $600 and [redacted] would receive a check for $400. This matter has been resolved and the customer has received his check of $400 and the vehicle has been discounted for the agreed amount of $600.   The review that was left online was typed out as it was being narrated by [redacted].
