John Miller Contracting Reviews (2)

To brief you on the situation, I was the builder of the house listed in this complaint and have always responded to my customers concerns in a timely manner I have been to their house numerous times attempting to solve an issue of excessive moisture in
their home over the last eight years I have brought in three different HVAC companies to their home to try and resolve the problem and nobody is certain as to where the moisture is coming from but all agree there is excessive moisture in homeAll HVAC companies agree that the house was well built by myself and that I have conformed to the Uniform Codes Law and passed all the inspectiopns without probable causeThe home has a Geo-Thermal heating system and the company that installed this system was also called in to try and solve moisture problem in 2015. This companies suggestion to the matter was to install an air handler in the heating systemThis company was willing to install this for only the cost of labor in which the home owner agreed upon. When this company called to arrange an install date the homeowner stated that the date wasn't going to work and never rescheduled a date that would work and still to this date has not made arrangements and has now refused to have work done all together. Any damage caused to the home due to excessive moisture I have fixed free of charge to this dateWith the noncompliance of the homeowner of persuing the possible resolutions to the problem suggested by the specialist in that field I feel that I have gone above and beyond what would be appropriate to help this customer with his issue The warranty that I give on a new home is year from completion of the home, completion date on this job has been approximately years ago. I have been in business for years locally and highly value my reputationI have worked my hardest to help solve a problem that has nothing to do with the house framing or structure of homeHopefully this gives you appropriate insight on the stated complaintPlease keep me informed on your thoughts
