John Nails Reviews (1)

I am sad to say that as a loyal customer for over five years I will not be returning to John Nails, Columbus GAI have been disappointed the past two times that I received services from themI am a loyal and frequent customerI receive eye brow waxes on a weekly basis and acrylic nail and pedicures biweeklyAs a member of the service industry as well I know the importance of satisfied customers in order to obtain their loyalty
On April 4, I received a pedicure, fill in and eye brow waxWhen I received my pedicure I did not receive the usual 5-minute foot and calf massageThe women simply rubbed lotion on my calves for about seconds and proceeded to painting my nails and finishingI understand that it was a Saturday and the day before Easter so it was a busy dayAnd I originally wanted a new acrylic set but the technician that performed the service said that I only needed a fill inI understand why a fill in is quickerI do not mind paying extra for a new full set and the technician should have been eager to make a higher saleThere is a reason why I prefer new sets instead of just fill in sometimesAt my job I occasionally have to use coloring products and it gets to the nails and dyes them, and a simple fill in will still carry the colors under the nailsSo having blue or red dye under the nails makes it hard for me to select the French manicure look that I prefer when I justt receive a fill in service instead of a new setAfter that experience I still remained a loyal customer because I understand sometimes mistakes are made and it was after all a very busy dayOn April 21, I walked into John Nails at 7:pmI was greeted as usual and asked what services that I desiredI wanted a new set and an eye brow waxI sat at station number six and the woman technician proceeded to confirm that I did in fact want a new setAfter a few minutes go by and the technician removed all of the old polish and removed one of the old acrylic nails she said “what time is it?”The technician then pulled out her cellular phone and proceeded to inform me that “it is 7:pm and we are closing in twenty minutesSo you can just get a fill in or come back tomorrow and finish”I work third shift and had to work that evening and cannot attend my job with my nails the way they had looked at that time (without any of the polish and after she started to remove the old nails)If she would have stated that before she had started I would have just waited until the next day So I was left with no choice and had to receive a fill inAt 7:pm a man entered the nail salon and asked for a pedicure and was directed towards the pedicure chairsHe received the service that he requested even though it was only a few minutes till closing as well
I had to choose a dark shade nail polish because one on the nails was dyed blue and if I had chosen the French manicure look you would have been able to see the blue shade through it and some of the lines from previous fill insAfter washing my hands the technician asked me to pay for my services so I handed her my credit card and she continued with method of paymentWhen I was handed the slip to sign I simply asked what that I was being charged forI have never questioned my bill before over the years that I have been a customer but I wanted to make sure that in fact I was not being charged for a full set and eye brow waxWhen she responded she began acting defensive and with an attitude she stated that I was being charged for the fill in and for two nail repairsI answered her back that I should have only been charged for one nail repair because the other nail that she had to repair is the one that she removed herselfThe technician then changed her answer that she had previously stated and said that I was being charged for one nail repair and a fee of filing down the nailsIt was clear to me that she was obviously changing different reasons or what in fact that I was actually being charged for The technician continued to speak towards me in very rude manner and even went as far as raising her voice towards meI simply just responded with “will you please finish painting my nails so I may leave” She continued to speak with a raised voice towards meAlso during my time that evening I did not receive the eye brow wax that I originally wanted, there was not enough time apparently, which should have also been brought to my attention when I first entered the establishment I was not given the name of the nail technician, all that I know is that she was working at station number six that eveningShe was extremely rude and unprofessionalEmployees like that will drive away more customers in the future and potentially affect the business
John Nails over the years has been my choice of business to receive services and that is why I maintained being a loyal customer over the yearsBut after my experience on April 21, 2015, I will no longer be using John Nails for services in the future, nor will I refer others to the establishment
