Hello Revdex.com
we are working things out and moving forward with job
Review: I signed a contract with John Petersen Builders on August 25, 2013 and as of this date my house is sitting in a empty lot since October 8, 2014. I have paid a total of $138,982.00 so far and my modular was delivered on October 8, 2014 and is still sitting in a empty lot in Little Egg Harbor, NJ. The pilings for my modular have not been put in yet and I am concerned that my house is sitting in a empty lot. I have paid for the piling work already and have paid for the modular. The contractor was trying to get additional money from me for piling work but per my contract with him I have already paid him for this piling work.
He does not honor his contract or really care about his customers question/issues and concerns regarding his contracts.
I will pursue this further. Thank you.Desired Settlement: All I want is that John Petersen honor his contract with me and set my modular and finish so I can move back in. I am a senior citizen and I lost my primary house due to Super Storm Sandy and I think that it is really bad that I have to keep calling and calling to get him to honor his own contract. I just want a house per my contract with him.
If he cannot honor his contract then I would like a refund of money so that I can pursue other contractors who will finish the job if he is not going to finish or follow through

Review: Signed contract with John Petersen Builders August 12, 2013 for Sandy Related new home construction and he has not followed or completed his part of the contract. Multiple unfinished items that is supposed to be done and is not. Work is very slow and should have been completed by now. We have to keep calling and calling to get updates and there has been no progress. We have paid him per contract and he has not completed work outlined by his contract. He also failed to renew his State of New Jersey Contractor License.Desired Settlement: Just want our house completed and to obtain a CO per our signed contract.

I am rejecting this response because:
Per our telephone conversation I wish to reopen my complaint against John Petersen Builders. His latest email to you was that he would finish up on November 1, 2014 and nothing has been done and my house is not completed with a CO. I signed the contract with John Petersen Builders August 12, 2013 and as of this date November 4 it has not been completed. I think we have been more than patient and wish to have it completed so we can move back in.
We paid him so far $122,200 and it has been over 15 months.
My cell is [redacted]. Thank you
