In response to the letter received January 8, 2018, regarding the work completed at *** ***
***We were contracted to complete the following:Replacement of One (1) Mixing Valve, including three (3) CPVC couplings, one (1) CPVC valve, one (1) CPVC 90, and one (1) CPVC T.This work was
completed on December 29, and the amount due was charged per the contract. While completing the repairs our technician was in contact with the manufacturer of the unit in question to assist in the diagnosis of the issuesWhile working with technical support it was determined that there were additional issue and that an additional part was needed to get the unit running to the manufacturer specificationOur technician explained this to *** ***, at that time and verbally agreed to the work, and that the office would call to set the install date when the part arrived. The additional part was orderedDue to the parts coming from the manufacture, and the New Year Holiday weekend it took a few days for it to arriveOn January 5, an email was sent to Ms*** stating that the part had arrived and that we were able to install at their convenienceWe were then told that our services were no longer required.Regarding the lack of communication please see the enclosed em ails to MsLewis regarding the work. This does not include the phone calls made to our technician directly.Regarding the charges to the accountAs stated above the amount that was charged was for the contracted work completed No additional charges were made to the account for the additional work that was agreed upon by Mr***, although we did have to purchase the part ordered for the additional repairsBecause of the expense that we incurred we feel that the account is still open with a balance due of $71.04, due to the special order and restocking fee was charged to us for the return. We value all our customers and regret that this situation has occurredWe do not feel that a refund of the cost is warranted as we fulfilled the above stated work, and were willing and able to install the additional replacement part.Respectfully,John Piccirilli, Owner John Piccirilli Plumbing, Inc

The Damage in question was not there initially as demonstrated by the pics I attached, the pics supplied by Piccirilli are not the damaged areas in questionI have provided all documentation through the process of what was dealt with, pics, receipts, etcIt's clear about Piccrilli's business processes, it's also demonstrated on the reviews given by other's previously on social mediaI wish I had seen them before hiring their company. Lesson learned do a background check before hiring anyone, because it's clear some are above the lawI have found the information I needed:-)Thanks again for your support in this process.Revdex.com:

We were not informed of the second charge being run on our credit card, therefore did not approve of it. Furthermore, we would not have approved as the job was not complete. As previously stated, we were forced to contract with another company to complete the workPiccirilli was informed their services were no longer required when they finally contacted us after the job was completed by the other contractorNote that several request were made to Piccirilli prior to hiring another contractor to find out as to when they would be completing the job and were not given a timeline or the courtesy of checking on the part delivery, just a rude “when the part is received”. This was an occupied apartment with a family who had been without hot water for over a week in the frigid temperatures having to go to another building (via outside) to shower. Bottom line, job not completed by Piccirilli and we were not advised of the 2nd credit card charge nor was it approved by our company

Once again, we are responding to the complaint ID [redacted] made by Ms. [redacted].We are standing firm with our original statements. In the original documentation sent we also addressthe issue with the said damage and have clearly shown that the damage was there before we startedthe work.We would like to also address the issue of the additional work completed as the invoice provided did notgive the companies name. We would like to be able to contact the company personally to ask additionalquestions. In addition, we would also like to again state that several attempts were made to address thecomplaints, and all were denied by Ms. [redacted].We do not take customer complaints lightly and make every attempt to rectify the situation. We dorealize that we cannot make every customer happy.Respectfully,John Piccirilli, OwnerJohn Piccirilli Plumbing, Inc.[redacted]

I complained about the new damage as what was portrayed in the pics I sent to you, not the pics you took on the onset. You had those and had agreed to fix that damage to the siding. I have siding that I could use to fix it, however that's not the issue the machine should have not been used to create the damage. I was not questioning the old hole inside. As far as the "sand" being added later, that is sawdust to help absorb the water around the hydrant. I did send pics after it was fixed by the other company.  You are correct about the repair not requiring opening the well head casing, but it was opened and can be heard in the audio clip 10. I was told by the DEC that anyone opening the well casing should be certified to do so, and the only one certified at the company is John Piccirilli himself, not IsMail [redacted] the operator/foreman. The security cameras showed when John Piccirilli arrived/left.  Banging down in the well casing by IsMail can be heard in the audio clip number 10, I sent to Piccirilli in the initial contact email. Actually the property is owned by an 80 year old couple,my parents I was just trying to help. It's fine if John Piccirilli likes to do business in this fashion, but I wasn't going to have him on the property to try and rip my parents off even more. The repair started at $600 then as they came each time ended up costing $3600, and with a new pump it would be another $3800. I have had estimates and this is triple of what it should be. Lesson learned, hahaha.  Guess John Piccirilli and IsMail [redacted] would like this type of treatment done to them all in the name of good business.

I am aware that this matter has been closed by the Revdex.com but I wanted to follow up with [redacted] stance that although we did authorize the down payment of half of the amount due for the job, we did not authorize the second charge nor were we aware that it was being run. The second charge  (per the invoice and our emails) was due upon completion, which was not achieved by John PIcciriilli, Inc. and therefore [redacted] was forced to contract another company to complete the job.  That is why the complaint originated and why John Picccirilli, Inc. was fraudulent in charging out credit card unauthorized. Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.Thank you [redacted]

As stated In the previous response we did complete the contracted work as listed In the informationprovided. Any other work that was requested above and beyond the work listed on the provideddocuments was not completed upon the property manager's request.Although we had already purchased the equipment to complete the work and had cleared time in theschedule to do the work, we did not charge for any of the time and supplies needed for the job.Again, as stated previously we were ready willing and able to complete the additional work, once theparts needed had arrive from the manufacturer, but per the request of the property manager we did notdo the work.Respectfully,John Piccirilli, OwnerJohn Piccirilli Plumbing , Inc.[redacted]
