In response to this complaint we have spoken to the resident and have agreed not to charge them a cost of reletting fee to compensate them for the concerns that they have had regarding the propertyThey have moved out and left the property in very good condition and we have procured a replacement
residentIn response to their concerns about the settlement cracks on the interior/exterior of the duplex, we did have the property professionally inspected by a leveling company and have been told that the extent of the settling is approximately 3" - which is very acceptable in this area, especially with the the past few summers drought like conditionsUnfortunately, most of the settlement has affected one area around the front door of the property and a contractor was hired to remedy those conditions once the property Owner was satisfied that the foundation did not have significant movement
As soon as the Resident's agree that this complaint has been rectified to their satisfaction and sign a full and final settlement agreement, we will refund the cost of reletting fee that they have paid
