Review: I had a cyst that needed to be removed on my toe. I wanted to get it removed before my insurance changed on July 1st, 2013. I wanted to make sure that the podiatrist was in my network. Dr. [redacted] insisted he was in-network with United health Care. I was insistent that this was very important. I also asked him if any follow-up appointments were included with the surgery cost. He said yes. I got a bill for $90.00 and was going to pay it. Then he appeared on the news for committing fraud and not being honest about claims of being in-network with United Health Care. A week later I received a bill for over $400.00! One of the dates of service I was not even there. I refused to pay and they threatened to send my bill to collections. He was then suspended due to billing practices. This was on channel 6 news.Desired Settlement: I want to pay a fair bill based on in-network cost. This is what is fair based on information given to me.

Review: I seen this Dr.[redacted] for a ingrown toenail on an emergency type visit. The mistake I made is that I picked him from the yellow pages and asked if he took my insurance United medical Insurance through Aurora as I practice as a Rn . I am very disgusted how he waits Months to send you a bill at the the price of $7,094.78 including Interest too and then tacks on things he didn't even do to my toenail. He never told me what the costs would be . I called my United Medical Health Insurance Co. care upon the arrival of the bill then I wrote a letter explaining what happened . They only paid a very small portion and denied the rest . Today as of July 20,2013 he sent another bill of me owing a grand total of $6,201.63 , which is absurd , because the week of recieving the first bill I already started to pay him . He has already been pain $1,800.00 with all written checks including this last weeks payment .I am not paying him anymore not with his false record keeping . If anything this can go in front of Judge and let him decide how much of a crook this man is and should have his license denied ,no Rx like this can cost this price at his office . He puts a bad rap out for his fellow Dr.s What a bad book keeper it's sad to have others ripped off as well reading the newspaper !He needs to be stopped .Sincerely[redacted]Desired Settlement: I feel he has overcharged me as well as others.I made a paymentof $1800.00 already and I not paying anymore regarding this matter. Could you please look into this matter for me for this is very serious .Knowing he has done this to me as well as others! He makes the Italian Mafia looks good.
