My family and I have acquired the professional services of John & Son’s moving more than a handful of occasions throughout the last decade. Beginning with the initial move from my parents’ home to my first residence to my family simply outgrowing the primary home and relocating to a larger one. John and Son’s timely, courteous and professional staff has always provided EXCEPTIONAL service to us. On several instances moving was under a 10-mile radius, another occasion was over 40 miles, regardless, the gentleman arrived on time never faltered or complained working for 10 hours straight not to mention the hour return back to their office. My furniture & personal belongings were handled with respect & care.
My profession in the property management industry has led to many, many referrals for John and Son’s to my own clients that have required relocation services. They always reported receiving the same OUTSTANDING service as I have received throughout the years.

Review: Company was employed for moving services. They arrived 45 minutes after set start time, took a full hour lunch instead of set 30 minutes. Left our 3 year old son's crib incompletely assembled, with the mattress spring completely unattached and the screws lying on the floor; this was not made known to us that they did not complete the job; we found it this way after they left. Called the business office to make them aware and got no answer during normal business hours; called the business owner's cell phone and left a message with no response as of 5 days later. On the evening of our move in day, our bed frame made a loud cracking sound when we sat on it, upon further inspection of the frame supporting mattress spokes, they appeared slightly off; one spoke was found lying on the floor, 5 were found hidden in a closet, with remaining pieces found in one of our drawers. Called the business again and left a message, also sent an email with no response as of 5 days later. This also was left without us being made aware by the 3 men sent as our movers. My husband had to attempt to repair both pieces to the best of his ability the evening of our move. We paid John and Sons for a service that they did not complete, which could have caused damage to our family and our furniture. These actions (or lack thereof) were performed in secret by the movers, and they left knowing they had not completed their work, making no mention of it to us. In addition, John and Sons did not even have the decency to return our calls in an attempt to resolve or at least attend to these issues. As movers, they were expected to reassemble furniture as they previously found it, and at least make us aware if there were any issues with break-down/set-up. We do not want another family to have the experience that we did.Desired Settlement: Contact and concern from John and Sons

Appropriate disciplinary action for the movers involved
