The plumbing company did not at any time talk with my sonWe had several more communications with this company and they are leaving all this out of their explanationThere was a lot more required than a few minor adjustments to get the furnace correctedThe vendor we purchased it from knows nothing about the way it was installed since he is only a dealer of the furnaces and has never come to our home, not does he work on these furnacesHe sells them, and that is itThis company does not stand behind their work, and had never installed this type of furnace beforeThey did not care that we had no heat in our house for over two weeks of extremely cold weatherIt was no warmer than degrees and they would not even come over to try and get it workingNo one should ever get this company to do any work for them I am not at all satisfied with the answer they are providing Regards,

Regards,

Review: I purchased a Coal Stoker furnace from The Fireside Shop in Altoona, PA. It is manufactured by Leisure Line Stove Company [redacted]. It is a Anthracite Coal boiler model#WL110. Thomas Heating and Plumbing installed it for me. I have had so many issues with it not working properly and they will not make good for the work they did. I have contacted several other plumbers, who will not work on it since they did not install it. Thomas's did not even they lighting the furnace after it was installed. I made several calls to them that I needed them to work on it since my house was maintaining about 55 degrees inside. Their response was, and I quote "what do you want me to do about it?" They obviously did not have the proper knowledge to install or work on such a furnace and would not even come back out to my home to try. I paid them $821.05 for the installation. I am now going to have bills from other plumbing contractors who are going to have to correct their shoddy work. I want them to pay the charges the other plumbers are sending me and I want half the money back I paid them to do the installation in the first place. I talked with the secretary as well as the plumbers and told them I want them to pay the bills the other plumbers are sending me and the secretary named [redacted] said that is not going to happen. Well, something needs to happen because their work is substandard.Desired Settlement: I want a refund of half the money I paid to this contractor for the work, which was not done properly. They did not even bother to try and light the furnace after it was installed. And, I want them to cover the costs am I incurring to have the installation corrected. I paid almost $5000.00 for this furnace and the $821.05 for them to install it. I am freezing cold in my home. It has been only going up to 55 degrees in my home for over a week now.
