I bought a pair of shoes for my boyfriend's birthday online. He owns Several pair's of this brand so I ordered the size 12 as it is his size. the shoes arrived and the run a full size larger. I called customer service and asked the representative for an even exchange for a size smaller. He mentioned that the sale is final and he can not do anything about it. the website says non refundable and does not say anything about the shoes running a size larger nor the fact that we cant exchange it. therefore the shoe is defective. I asked to be transferred to a supervisor and he rudely replied he is the guy in charge and the only manager there now. I asked for his name and he refused to give me his name and said there is nothing he can do. I am extremely disappointed and Like to return the shoes even though I was looking forward to my boyfriend enjoying these. I would like an even exchange for a size smaller or a full refund on the shoes. and to be contacted by a representative from Varvatos company to explain the reason for such rude service. All I asked was to do an even exchange for a size smaller size.

I purchases a pair of Boots on Sales on *** and order was confirmed. I then find out there are no more Boots in my size yet they are reluctant to provide same provide in a different color? Why would the sale go through if there was no product in stock? They should accommodate the sale for same product but different color.

I had to get a bracelet repaired by John Varvatos. I sent it in to be repaired and it currently has been 3 months since then. I've heard nothing relevant from their customer service team. I will never, ever, purchase another item from them again. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM JOHN VARVATOS!

For most of the part Johnny's line of product is high quality and very nice designed, customer service very young and inexperience employees that eventually will kill on line purchases.Thankfully there is more designers to pick from with the same quality or better. Just hope ""Boss" is in touch with reality and did not flow away!! How about it Johnny?

I purchased a pair of shoes and 6 days later they show a discount. I asked for a price adjustment and the girl said they don't do those because inventory was now limited, I checked and the item was still available in the same size I purchased it.

I have been a prolific John Varvatos customer for the past five years. In that time, I have a had several issues with their customer service department. I usually let it go and chalk it up to bad customer service training, but there have been a series of recent incidents that have me riled up. I am hoping a complaint to the Revdex.com will get this company thinking about the way they do business with their customers.

I placed four orders in the past two weeks. The first incident involved *** The shoes sent to me were significantly, materially different than the shoes as advertised. For days, their customer service representative, Gaby, argued with me that the shoes I received were the shoes as seen on line. Regardless of the pictures sent, she continued to insist I was wrong when the material difference was clear. Additionally, DHL, their shipper, failed to follow through on three delivery attempts. I spent nearly three cumulative hours on the phone and over six hours waiting around my office after hours trying to resolve the issue. I reached out to the JV team for help, but all requests went ignored. DHL assured me JV would receive a refund for the shipping cost: Despite this, Gaby refused to refund me the $30 fee I paid. Her manager, Monyette, was even less accommodating. There was absolutely no consideration for the approximately 30 orders I have placed since 2012. They could not even strike a conciliatory tone after the previous hassles.

Just this week, an item from order *** was summarily cancelled without explanation and without incentive or direction to reorder. I asked Gaby if they would honor the free shipping I had on order *** if I resubmitted the order. She, again, refused.

At every turn this customer service team has gone out of their way to antagonize and escalate. I was the manager of the accessory floor at the flagship Giorgio Armani store in Manhattan for nearly a decade. If I had treated my customers like this, I would have been fired. If one of my staff had treated a customer like this, I would have fired them. Thankfully, I trained my staff well and never had cause to do so.

On their website, *** there is a 25% off sale with a coupon code splashed on every page. This coupon "***" does not work. I called the customer service department and they told me that code should not be on their site, even though I have sen it for days on there. They then proceeded to tell me that it is for sale items only, however the wording is: "TAKE AN ADDITIONAL 25% OFF SALE WITH CODE *** AT CHECKOUT" with no mention of sale items. Nevertheless, the coupon still does not work on sale or non-sale items. They refuse to honour their own advertised sale.

I also live in Toronto, Canada. The price, with the exchange rate, is about $140 cheaper in the US than in Canada. I understand there are fluctuations in the exchange rate but $140 extra is excessive to Canadian customers and they would not charge my credit card in US funds.

The coupon code is also available in both the US and Canadian sites for the 25% off.

I would like the company to honour a 25% off for the item of my choosing as advertised and if possible, get a US price charged to my credit card, not the Canadian which is robbery from my perspective. They were talking about duties and any excuse why it is more to Canadian customers but I am the one that pays the duties and with NAFTA still active I believe the price should generally match.

Hello. We had a Winter Sale for US customers beginning on the afternoon of December , 2017 and lasted through 3AM EST on January *, 2018. As the client mentioned, the promo bar messaging was "take an additional 25% off sale with code ***." The wording of "additional" implies already marked down styles. While this promotion was only for US customers, we'd be happy to honor an additional 25% off on a sale item of the customer's choosing.

In regards to the exchange rate, that is something that is not controlled by John V and unfortunately cannot charge international customers the US pricing. Our international site experiences are controlled by Borderfree; they handle all international orders placed on our site.

When one purchases a pair of $700 shoes, it comes with some expectation of quality, accuracy in the description, and a level of excellence in the packing. I have been severely let down on all fronts here.What was supposed to be a pair of black derby shoes with an alcohol wash of the finest quality leather, is in fact a pair of light brown shoes of inferior leather. They in no way whatsoever resemble the shoes featured on line.. There is no grain in the leather, there is no depth to the colour. They are light brown, mottled and smooth. Even the shape is different. I have reached out to the John Varvatos customer service team no less than eight times. All of those messages have gone ignored. Further, whomever sent these did not take a moment to pack them with any care. They were literally thrown in the box without so much as a piece of tissue paper between them. They look as though they've been tried on a hundred times, spread at the back on both sides, the laces unraveled.I'm stunned frankly. I expected so much more from a company like John Varvatos.

The customer was dissatisfied with the shoe when it arrived at his shipping address as well as the packaging of the item. This customer reached out to us via email, and we have refunded him via Paypal and Borderfree on 9//2017.

I returned an item which they received, but they refuse to issue a credit. They claim the item was marked "final sale" on the website and therefore can't be returned, but I never saw that stated on the website, and it is not stated on any of the emails they sent to confirm the order, nor was it stated in the paper forms in the box (in fact the box included a return label).
