Sent: Tuesday, December 29, 2015 4:03 PM To: drteam Cc: [redacted] Subject: Revdex.com Case #[redacted] - Wood Glen Court Assisted Living   To whom it may concern-   I am writing in response to a complaint that was filed with the Revdex.com for one of our Assisted...

Living Communities, Wood Glen Court Assisted Living in Spring, TX.   The allegations made by [redacted] were completely false.   As you can see from the attached emails that were exchanged between [redacted]  and the Executive Director of the community, there were many inconsistencies in [redacted] communication.  Please look at the email in order from 1 to 5 and take not of the dates of the emails.  The care of our resident’s is the number one priority of the staff at Wood Glen Court.  Communication between the resident and family member is also important in order to provide the best service for our senior residents.    As you can see from the emails that were sent by [redacted], her reactions were the result of the stress she was feeling regarding her Mom’s health and the overall situation as expressed in the following quote from one of her emails:   “When you are responsible, as I am, for the care of my Mom it can be very emotional.”   We would like for you to reconsider our Revdex.com rating which was a direct result of the false complaint made by [redacted].    Please contact me if additional information is needed.   Thank you,   Kristi L. J[redacted] Executive Assistant [redacted]

Dear Revdex.com-After reading *** *** response, I would like to offer the following facts:If at any time *** *** felt that her mother was in danger, or being ill-cared for, I would question why she was even considering sending her Mom back to Wood Glen Court to live as stated in her email on October 16, 2015, just 10 days before writing this complaint to the Revdex.com.We are very well aware of the formal complaints that *** *** filed with the State of Texas against Wood Glen Court.  As of this date, the violations of her first complaint have been found to be unsubstantiated, as the investigation by the State was completed at 9 pm last night.  It is interesting to note, however, that the complaint made by *** *** to Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services was on December 16, the very date that she had sent an apology email and said she felt comfortable moving her Mom back to the community.  "I would like to apologize for getting so upset about my Mother. As we discussed I feel comfortable moving her back to Wood Glen Court when she is released from the rehab facility.  I also would like to state that I do not feel Homer physically or mentally abused her.  I hope you will accept my sincere apology, for the behavior I exhibited in a time of pure frustration!"*** *** mother was sent to the hospital, which was in her best interest at the time due to vomiting.  After receiving a call from the community about the condition of her mother, *** *** sent an email giving permission to send her Mom by ambulance to the hospital.  "I advised whoever called me today, about her throwing up for 3 days, to send her with her paperwork in an ambulance to Willowbrook Methodist. Please send my name a phone number so they can call me. I will be back in town tomorrow around noon."*** *** references the "care or non care that Wood Glen Court gives their residents and the diagnosis of her mother".  - Wood Glen Court is a non-medical facility, which means we do not "diagnose" our residents.  If the need arises, due to illness or injury, we send them to the proper health care facility for diagnosis and treatment, which was the case with *** *** mother. It is important to note that *** *** became upset after requesting a refund for the month of October for her mother's rent, which was not granted.  This is when she started posting false reviews online about Wood Glen Court (which are, in fact, quite slanderous) and contacted the Revdex.com.  In response to her most previous statement, the records for *** *** mother were sent to her attorney last weekWe are sad to hear that *** *** mother has passed.  She, along with all of our residents are well respected and treated with the highest level of respect, dignity and compassion.  It is disheartening to think that *** *** would question the ethical and moral values of those who cared for her Mom at Wood Glen Court.

Sent: Wednesday, December 30, 2015 9:24 AM To: drteam Subject: Re: You have a New Message from Revdex.com Regarding Complaint #[redacted]Dear Revdex.com,I did read the response and attached emails from Wood Glen Court. Those did not prove that I was not happy. Most of those were complementing an employee  for a job well done. Not a manager, but one caregiver. The last email was written because I was desperate on finding a place for my mom to move to and was running out of time before she was released from the hospital. Melody and Lisa N[redacted] told me I had to write it before my Mother could return to Wood Glen Court. I was going to move her back until I could to move her to another facility. It turns out that because of the severe dehydration that was the result of horrific care, from Wood Glen Court, my Mother went into to renal failure and could not return to any assisted living.I will be receiving a report from the State of Texas with many violations against Wood Glen Court. I have doctor, previous residents and previous employees statements about the care or non care that Wood Glen Court says they give residents and the diagnosis of my Mother. If you would like a copy of the report from the state please let me know.[redacted]
