JOHN WISSINGER, INC. HARDWOOD FLOORS

Review: I have a contract with John Wissinger Inc, refinish the Hardwood floors on all stairs, 2nd floor hallway and 2nd and 3rd floor landings going up to the third floor. In the contract it also specifies 3 coats of polyurethane will be applied after everything would be sanded, stained and refinished. There are swirl marks all over the 2nd and 3rd floor landing and hallways from his heavy sander. He did a terrible job sanding, some parts of the hallways still has the oringinal finish, therefore missed those areas. Nothing blends together, all different shades because of the terrible sanding job. There are also areas where the bare sanded wood is exposed, therefore no polyurethane used. I had a contractor come in and he said this was an unfinished job, that the sanding was all wrong, that they left sanding marks, there was not 3 coats of polyurethane used and there are also stains from dripping the stain down the side of the stairs and handrails. Your socks stick to the floor when you walk, who heard of your socks sticking to hardwood floors, they are suppose to be smooth. I called Jon to come out and fix these issues, he picked up my calls the first couple times but made up an excuse and he has now stop taking my calls and refused to come out and fix the issue.Desired Settlement: Cash Back or he pays for a professional to fix the job
