Review: I had John replace my air conditioner. He said he had one on hand and he would install it and if anything at all was wrong with it or if anything didn't work correctly, that he stood by his word and he would make it right...no matter what. As soon as he installed it, it stopped working and was loosing Freon. He returned and put more Freon in it and said he thought he had it fixed but to let him know and if it happened again to call him or may even stop by and check it himself, which he never did. I have now been without a/c for almost 2 weeks and I have called and called and left numerous messages and he ignored my calls. so I called his home number and left a message, which by the way his home number is the [redacted]. His cell number is [redacted]. His cell phone was cut off for a few days and now it is working. So I finally called his home number and left a message with his wife and she said she would tell him that evening. Never heard anything. Called again the next day he wouldn't answer his phone so I called her again and she said she had given him the message and would put me on his list! So, I had called again and he called me back thinking I was someone else by the name of [redacted] and I told him noooo this is [redacted]. Well, he started stammering and I told him we were suffering going on 12 days with out air and he said he had been so busy and he would do his best to get here the very next day which would have been Monday the 18th of May. Again he never showed up. I started calling again every 20 minutes, both phones. Finally his wife called me back and said that she had just gotten in and saw that I had called several times and that John had hurt his back and would be in bed for at least a week on pain medication and muscle relaxers. I told her my issue and she said, well, I don't know what to tell you except get someone else to fix it and good luck!!!! I have a friend that lives close to him and they saw him going up and down the road all day. He has done this to others I just found out.Desired Settlement: I want him to finish the job and fix whatever is wrong with it. Plain and simple. If he wants to refund my money, that is fine but I know he is not going to do that. I just need air conditioning in my house again. Upstairs I actually have candles melting it is so hot. I had to go stay at a friends house last night it is so miserable. The entire time he was installing it he kept talking about people doing other people wrong and he didn't know how they could lay their head down at night.

My husband was trying to help a family friend that said her friend needed air conditioning. He went to see her and they decided to put a straight air condtion it was used and only has a 30 day warranty. He put it in for them it was working he told them if might need some more freon in the summer. He also fixed there water heater at very little cost and didn't charge them alot for her air conditioning. His phone wasn't working for a while and he was doing some others jobs for a friend of his and then they finally started calling the home phone. I told her then he was busy and I would give him the message. They call our home phone 7 times in a hour and half. When I got in I told her I would give him the message. She called back the next morning my husband has really bad back problems and had hurt his back. I told the lady that it might be a while I was sorry. My husband went over there next day when he found someone to go with him he was still in some pain. He told them that there was a small leak in the air condition but the problem was with there indoor unit it has three leaks and was rusted and he would have to check to see if he could find a part offered them a window unit and they refused. He called them back and told them the indoor unit was to old and couldn't get the part and offered to try to resell the air condtioning and get her money back. She didn't want that she talked to my husband rudley. My husband has a witness to the condition of there indoor unit. As far as him riding up and down the road our son was using the van and is mistaking for my husband often. My husband has a very good name and is very good at what he does. Sometimes you can't please everyone and I think these people just wanted something for nothing. We really hate that this happened this way because again you can't please some people.

At this point I am willing to take his offer of 400.00 for the 1999 faulty a/c unit that was installed at my residence, [redacted] by John Worrell. I no longer wish to carry on this debate back and forth.

I writing you back about the conversation we had today I stated that the problem they were having dosn't have to do with what my husband helped them out with he dosn't have a business was just doing it for a friend. He has not contract or anything with her and it was a used air conditioning he has offered to try to sell if he can he will do so it is just a air condition and not a heat pump may have some trouble reselling it but he will try if he does he will contact them. Again the problem is with her indoor unit not what he did. Thank you!

He told me from the beginning that he would stand behind his work no matter what. She ( his wife) is now saying that the problem was on the inside. That is very strange because after using the a/c unit he installed for only one week we were completely out of Freon. He told me himself that there was a very large leak in the unit. This unit was given to him and now I see why. He just goes around getting these pieces of equipment and the passes them on to people knowing they do not work or that there is a problem with them and then when problems arise, he doesn't want to take care of the matter. Once again, he installed a 1999 unit telling me that it was not brand new but just like new and he would stand by it no matter what. He told me that he would take the unit back and give me 400.00 but nothing else. And at this time I just want him to go away. I have called and left a message telling him to come and pick up the a/c unit and refund me the 400.00 he offered me. There was nothing said about him refunding the money IF he could resale the unit. I will not stop until I have been refunded at the very least the 400.00.
