Reference lD * ***, and Mr*** ***Mr*** has been advised by the manufacturer of his product that it is well beyond the manufacturers warranty.I am not affiliated with the manufacturer, as I am an independant contractor that has been trained and certified on most of their productsI am not required by contract to accept any service callsThere are other service contractors that service his zip code of These are available from the manufacturers website by entering his zip code or calling the number that is in his owners manual.Again, in my previous correspondance to Mr*** and to Revdex.com, I stated in good faith that I had refunded his full amount (check cleared)The truth is that I do not stand for "customer abuse" nor did I feel that I was in a safe environment_ As I question the rational of Mr***You can review his complaint and site several inconsistenciesIn his final submission on 09/30/he states "still intermittently short cycling" and "[fix it I expect to be reimbursed by Bosch ." Again , I am not the manufacturer nor do I represent the manufacturer. There is nothing further that I can do for Mr***, as my personal safety would be at risk This matter is closed as he has received a full refund and I have no further obligation to this subject

I received your correspondance from the Revdex.com regarding your Bosch dishwasherTo this date I have not received an inquiry from Bosch customer serviceProtocol is that once a case is initiated, the CSR contacts the service provider and parks the customer on
holdThis validates the claim, as authorization information from the customer has no validityA authorization letter and number is required for out of warranty claims. On July 11, I confirm that I diagnosed your dishwasher as not cycling (not draining the water out)We both noticed a loud drain pumpWhen I returned with the new drain pump we compared themI showed you the deformed impeller on July 17th, (days later)You asked to retain the part so you could take it apart which I left with youThe dishwasher now drained and cycled properly, and you stated that your were adamant about getting refunded from Bosch.Thursday, July was scheduled for a recall, stating that the unit was short cyclingUpon arrival you turned me around and stated that the dishwasher had worked fine for the previous cycles. Tuesday, August 11, you requested that I return and contact Bosch tech supportAfter going through complete diagnostics with tech support in California, we confirmed that there were no issuesTech support advised to recheck leveling and make sure there was no warpage in door closure, (confirmed).Intermittent problems are hard to solveEspecially when your machine is out of warrantyI cannot throw free labor and parts at your machine, and to this date no accurate diagnosis can be givenThe machine would have to be in the actual failure to do any repairs. In good faith I am refunding your service fee of 165.00, the pump assembly of and the freight of 12.00, for a total of $ It would be in both our best interests that in the future, you would obtain another service provider

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. For Mr. [redacted] to wash his hands of this whole affair is not satisfactory or fair. He is the only Bosch authorized independent  service tech in this part of the state. If he is unable to figure out what the problem is, he should admit it to  Bosch so they can proceed to make me whole. Whether to pump was bad is not the issue. The issue is that the dishwasher still is intermittently short cycling. Replacing the pump did not fix the problem and refunding me $200 does not fix the dishwasher. As for warranty, The control module is under warranty and that is probably the root of the malfunction. I have purchased a control module from an online appliance parts vendor and will replace it myself. If I fix the problem, I expect to be reimbursed for the cost of the control module by Bosch.
