We will handle this through proper channels, this is not the one.The complaint has been filed SEVERAL ways and we only have time to entertain ONE of them. The one that will be replied to is online. No further messages will be addressed

We did not sell this person anything

I am rejecting this response because:
I opened a complaint a little while ago with a business (see attached Revdex.com Complaint Management PDF). As you can see, the business claims they never sold anything to me and my case was closed. This is
absolutely not true! I have also attached a print out from the Ebay transaction where I contacted the business and asked for a refund or return and they clearly told me to send the item back to them

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/02/29) */
1) Customer had a starter rebuilt by us. Not sure on the date, as no receipt was provided.
2) When it left our business it was working 100%. Every starter that leaves our shop is 100% working.
Which is why we have been in business since...

1969, because we do a great job.
3) Customer brought his starter back, without a receipt and demanded money back. (Read nest statement)
4) We do stand behind our work and our products, however, the starter that the customer brought back is BROKEN and BEYOND REPAIR.
The customer had either DROPPED the starter, or FORCED a bolt into the mounting hole and snapped off the mounting ear.
The part that is broken is not available to replace, rendering the starter now worthless. (I have photos)
5) We do not have a "research fee", what we do is charge for our time and labor. We went to several suppliers to try and source the part that the customer broke, but it lead to no parts available. Yes, we actually called and checked the online suppliers websites. The starter was disassembled by our staff, hence the time and labor charge.
Now onto more of the story.
There were no Arguments, only conversation. If Customer took any constructive comments as "arguing" well we can not change a persons attitude.
We were generous to offer a discount of $25.00 off of a NEW starter, but we will take that offer off the table now because it is clear that this customer will continue to be a pain to work with.
Customer failed to mention that he sent the Sheriff to place of business because he felt he was getting a bad deal. We told the story to the Sheriff and he left because even the Sheriff agreed we were being fair and reasonable.
So at the end of the day if Shane wants the starter back he will need to pay for our services.
We can not be held responsible for what happens to a starter once it leaves our shop.
We did not drop it, we did not break it.

I am rejecting this response because:
This seller claims he/she was not the one who sold the item to me.  However, as seen in the attached screenshot of the Paypal transaction, John's Auto Electric was the seller of this item.  This person is dishonest and will not return my property or issue me a refund.  I would appreciate it if you would take a look at the attached information and reopen the case.  I would appreciate your help in resolving the matter.

This was an online transaction with a different seller. Same building and address is all.
