[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Other vehicles received a courtesy notice during the month of August indicating that their vehicle may be towed within hours if the vehicle did not have a new hang tag displayedThis new hang tag policy had in fact been implemented as of July 26,and I never received any warning prior to my vehicle being towedStephon C [redacted] is a mn! Stephon C [redacted] lied as he tried to convince me that they'd tagged MY vehicle with multiple warnings before requesting a towStephon C [redacted] couldn't just amidst they'd made a mistake and For that reason I've no respect for him whatsoever! As a homeowner I'm allowed THREE vehicles and that's how many I'd parked within the common areaRegards, [redacted]

I am writing in response to complaint ID dated 8/24/ Below you will find the statement of facts as related to this complaint as well as the supporting documentationThe Board of Directors of [redacted] Community Association informed the community that they had revised Association’s parking policy in April All homeowner were notified via newsletter in April of this change with a copy of the revised parking policyA cover letter was also sent to all homeowners at the end of May that contained the new hang tags and another copy of the revised parking policy.The parking policy stated that a homeowner may have up to three vehiclesOne vehicle may be parked in the homeowner’s assigned numbered reserve space and up to two other vehicles may be parked in a space marked residentsThose vehicles parked in spaces marked residents must display the appropriate hang tag assigned to their homeThese hand tags are number specific to that particular addressThe revised parking policy took effect on June 1, The Association gave a grace period of days to allow all homeowner time to display the appropriate parking hang tagsIn mid-July the Association issued two rounds of notice to those homeowners not displaying the appropriate parking hang tagThese notices were simply a courtesy to remind homeowner of the new requirementsThe vehicle is question was parked is a resident parking space but did not display the appropriate hag tag as required This is in violation of parking policy and was subject to towThe homeowner did call this office and spoke with MsCathy Small and was advised of the policy and the homeowner indicated that he would like to speak to the property managerMrStephon C [redacted] then promptly called the homeowners and attempted to explain why his vehicle was towedThe homeowner was not satisfied with the response that was given and he was advised to pihis vehicle for the tow company and he had a right to request a hearing before the Board of DirectorsThe state and county law require that towing signs be displayed throughout the community stating reason a vehicle may be towed as well as the tow company location, phone number and maximum fees that may be chargedThese signs are located throughout the community and are 24” x 36” in diameterIt is the wish of The Management Group Associates, Inc that this case be closed favorablyPlease feel free to contact me if any additional information is required
