customers statement of problem: Yes my stylist bleached clients hair to remove yesras of oxidative dye. She wanted to achieve a lighter overall color than what she currently had. After the stylist bleached a considerably great amount of the old dye from the clients at home use of her own color, she proceeded to tell the client along the way of the steps she would be taking. My stylist then proceeded with the color application after consulting with the client about realistic outcome options. The client used our swatch book of colors to point out undertones she would like to see. The end result was exactly on point. I have included a copy of what the client chose. Her hair carried the exact tone the client chose for herself. At the point of check out, a gift card was used to pay for service. Her gift card total was $(copy enclosed), Her salon service total was $147.81. A total of $was left for a tip. Stylist applied full amount of gift card (including tip) on the service total as "paid" and the balance was $was left and paid on Visa, $44.64. Tbere was no additional money exchanged. The client called the purchaser of the giftcard to ask about the tip but we applied that amount to decrease client anxienty of the cost of service. All of which was discussed prior to service. My stylist did not receive a tip. The client called the day after her service on July 31. She called June 1, 2014. She said she was not sure she liked the amount of red she asked for and said she was not complaining. She was unclear about why she was calling. The owner told her that the tone could be changed. She never booked an appointment to have it corrected. Her unlike was at no fault of my stylist. She decided she was not in favor of the red under tone she chose. So at this point, the client called around days or so later and wanted a complimentary service. At this point she was due for a "Due" service of a retouch and refresh from scalp to ends at the full cost to client. We made it clear that a color refresh would need to be done in 4-weeksand that excessive, uneven color loss may result more commonly in corrective coloring situations such as hers. We kindly offered 25% off to counter the high cost of corrective coloring services and to try helping ease her stress of unfortuate circumstances at home. She kept asking for us to "meet her in the middle"I refused that. I didn't even need to be offering 25% off. I was trying to accomidate her. It again is no fault of our saon that her hair color faded quickly. We do not know what she is maintaining her hair color at home with. Color will not, nor does it, last foever. We will not refund any amount of money. We are not guilty of any wrong doing.
