I am writing in response to complaint ID #*** filed on July 22, 2016.I have contacted the property manager, *** ***, regarding this complaint as the Revdex.com letter was the first we had heard of any issues All communication and scheduling for this property must be handled through the
property manager. Treating for bed bugs is very detailed, requires extensive preparation, and, due to the life cycle of the insect, requires at least two treatments (a severe infestation often requires additional treatments) As this complaint was filed two days after the initial treatment, the product applied had not been given sufficient time to perform Mr*** informed me that the tenant was upset initially, however when they spoke earlier this week, the issue had been cleared The treatment was successful and B&C Exterminating is performing a second, scheduled treatment tomorrow Regarding the customer's comment about the odor of the product used, we recommend that all people and pets vacate the unit for at least hours after the treatment This allows ample time for drying and for the odor to subside This recommendation is printed on the checklist that all customers receive and sign prior to treatment In this case, we do not know if the tenant entered the unit before sufficient time had passed If the tenant is on-site when we arrive for treatment, we generally instruct them to leave windows open and fans running in order to dissipate the odor Since this particular tenant was not present when we arrived, these instructions were not conveyed.The customer requested that we "readjust the bill" As all services have not yet been completed, we will address this request at the proper time, pending the customer's satisfaction.Please feel free to contact us again with any further concerns or questions.Sincerely,*** ***B&C ExterminatingOffice Manager*** ** *** *** ** ***P - ###-###-####F - ###-###-####
