Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:The information in this letter is not completely correctThe furnace was never cleaned free of charge the following dayNo one ever showed up to do soWe have never been contacted since this company left the last time to schedule the finishing of the workThe temp in my son's room is still not fixed after doing this "free of charge" fixNot only that but since this mess my electric bill on budget billing has readjusted from $per month to $per month!!! We definitely have problems from the quality of work that has been doneWe have also had two other companies look at our air and furnace and it's size for this house is perfectly adequateWhat is it going to take for us to have this fixed back to the way it was before our home burnt? Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Attached is our response to the above complaint as well as supporting documentationWe can be reached via phone and email. In March of this year we were asked to look at a house that had fire damage to duct and possibly the heating and AC systemsWe found the existing furnace and air
conditioner to be over sized and possible damage to the furnace from smoke/sootWe quoted the customer our suggestions for replacement (see attached)The customer decided to only replace the duct and we proceeded accordinglyAt the completion of the job the furnace was sounding troubled and we returned to clean the furnace free of charge. The following month we received a call about airflow not getting to the back roomsAt the time we notified the customer with the problems of the furnace and that it probably needed replacementWe sent a technician to take airflow readings from each register and found very low airflow (see attached) and verbally notified the customerHe asked that we give our report to his insurance agentOur office emailed report as soon as contact information was receivedOver a month later our office was contacted and reported that two people sent from the insurance company stated our duct was the wrong sizeAt this time our technician stated all rooms were degreesOn July 14th we went and measured the duct and found it was oversizedDue to the extremely hot summer we experienced, we delivered a temporary AC unit to cool his son's room when neededAt the time of delivery, approximately 3:pm, the room in question was very cool and comfortableCustomer noted while we were speaking that it had problems at timesWe fabricated a new plenum, sized per SMACNA, and ordered duct (also sized per SMACNA) with special order 6" saddle taps with scoops for better airflow (an upgrade from out original quote free of charge)As it was an extremely hot summer we scheduled all projects based on need (people with out cooling came first), and our original order came in incorrect and created an additional delay, we did not get back to the customer in a timely matterWe received a phone call from a very angry customerWe returned and removed and replaced his duct on August and August We completed the properly sized duct with the exception of one run that was miscounted and we were short one saddle tapWe called the customer the next morning 8/17, to notify we would not be there, as we would have to order the start collarWe did not receive a responseOur office tried to call early September to schedule and again received no response. We need to get back to install the last saddle tap and the job will be completeSincerely,
