As a courtesy to Ms***, her second fee was refunded. Since pending transactions are "approved" for a network settlement to a retailer, the funds are essentially certified to the merchant, and not available to clear other items. This is the case for any pending transactions
that were authorized through the ATM/Debit network. A member of our team has reached out to Ms*** to explain the process so that she doesn't end up with a similar situation in the future.Thank you,John ***Senior Vice President
I had lost my job and got behind on a few credit card billsI always had an almost perfect credit rating and I wanted to do the right thing so I contacted Consumer Credit Counselors CCC to set up reduced payments and freeze interest rates until I got employed and back on my feetEveryone of my creditors agreed to terms with CCC except Indiana members credit union or IMCUThey harassed me and threatened to sue me through a lawyer they had retainedI know the debt is mine and I tried to do the right thingI have never gone through a hardship like thisIt was devastating to say the lease but to be harassed and not worked with just made it that much harderShame on IMCU I had been a member for over yrs before this happened and they treated me like a criminaland they charged me for copies of my checking statements that I needed to refinance my home so I could reduce payment to pay creditors like themselvesunbelievable
