Dear ***, I am writing to you once again and for the last time in regards to this complaintAt least 90% of his response is liesI am done with this issueHe needs to realize that his carelessness in maintaining his vehicle lead to the CORRODED part and that is why it brokeIt was not removed from the vehicle when [redacted] got thereIn fact he had to help get it off the battery [redacted] needs to realize he should not cheat the companySeeing as he is so desperate for the $15-we will be sending him the money but it won't be on his credit cardHe will just have to live with his conscience and a check Also if you post this issue, you hopefully post the responses Regards, ***'s Towing

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
What was going on with the dealership and I, has nothing to do ***'s towing damaging my carThey are stating irrelevant information***'s towing is deliberately lying about the tow truck driver not seeing and hearing my car collide with the hook and chains left in the center of the truck bedWhen the owner came out to look at my car, he didn't even lift up my car to inspect the damage, he was looking at the scrapes on the bottom bumper near the the area where the hooks and chain actually damaged my bumper and dented my front mount intercoolerIf they are so sure that they did not do the damage, then let's have an investigator/adjuster, fully inspect my car on a lift, analyze my front bumper and front mount intercooler in depth, and let that person determine how the damage was caused***'s towing owner is not an investigator nor an adjuster, he just came out and tried to make excuses and side with his employee even when his employee should not even have me be on the truck bed what so ever as the employee is the professional in this situation.

Dear *** **,I am writing in response to complaint #***Our driver responded to a AAA call at a dealership in Tustin. The member was already irate when the driver arrived because of what the dealership wanted to charge him for repairing his car's transmissionThe drivergreeted the member
and found out his tow destinationMember was informed that there would be over mileage at $per mile after the first miles which is covered under his basic membershipMember argued About the extra charge and wanted to be towed only miles and droppedThen he would call AAA back and request an additional towThis way he would avoid over mileage chargesAAA does not condone hopping from place to place to avoid these extra chargesMember was informed of the AAA policy and was unhappy about that alsoAfter further discussion he agreed to have ***'s Towing take his car to the new place of repair. The driver could not find a suitable place to attacha cable to the vehicle to pull it onto the truck bedMember said he would drive it onto the flatbed, as the clutch was bad and he knew how to get it goingHe drove it up without incidentDriver secured the vehicle to the truck with appropriate wheel straps and delivered the vehicle to the new place of repair. After the vehicle was unloaded and the driver left, the member called our office complaining of tow damageBoth the owner and manager of ***'s Towing went to inspect the vehicle and what the member was saying made no sense at alHe claimed the driver left the chain in the middle of the bed while he was driving his car onto the flatbedUntrueThere was some damage to the underside of his vehicle that was likely caused when the member hit one of those concrete stoppers that are at the front ofparking spacesThe damage went from the inside of the left wheel to the inside of the right wheel(SCRAPEDUP} No way could a chain have done this***'s Towing is not responsible and are not paying for something we didn't do.Yours sincerely,*** ***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
I would like to start this review by saying I not only consent to have this posted, but have hopes that it will for other patrons ***'s towingI will respond out of principal and hopes that this gives *** a realization that the consumer should not be cheated
After the initial call for my wife's car to have a new battery installed, it took me about minutes to get to her workOnce I arrived the tech had already taken out the old battery and had the new one in placeI inquired of the status and the tech said he busted the battery clamp and it would need to be replaced for $20.He also stated it was corroded and that was the reason for the damageI looked at the clamp and I did not see corrosion ( it had been cleaned however) nor was any evidence the metal was pitted or wornWhat I did see was the end of the clamp had been busted from what I consider over torqueing the clamp with the 1/drive ratchet and impact socket he had in his handIt was then that I stated that if it was corroded he should have waited for waited for me to arrive or show my wife the corrosion/damageSince he had not done either and with the lack of visible corrosion, I did state it needed to be repaired/replaced at no charge to meThe tech called out a supervisor, which I later found out was the ownerThe only communication I had with the owner was the initial greeting and after he looked at the battery he stated he didn't believe it was the techs fault, but would take care of itAt that point I said thanks and told them to have my wife sign the billAt no point did *** state there would be a $charge, let alone how gracious he was by not charging me laborHindsight I should have clarified my position of not paying for the new clamp and also should have informed my wife that there would be no additional chargesAt the moment everything seemed and that he was going to fix the tech error.
Once my wife and I both got home I noticed the charge for the clamp and of course was not pleasedI asked my wife if they had contacted her and asked for authorization for the repair and she stated that she had notI then called AAA and let them know about the issue and then called the shopIt was then that I found out that the supervisor that had been called out was the owner ***I then asked *** for a refund of the $dollars to be refunded to our card, with all of the above examples as my reasonI also have to state that I was not pleased of the charge, but by no means was I angry, yelling or whining during any part of this conversationAt that point *** said I was cheating him and he would not refund my moneyI responded that by no means was I cheating him and had been upfront of my wishes from the beginning and he should have told me about the additional funds while I was on siteI also stated he knew of my wishes, since that was the reason he had been called out to the siteEventually he stated he would refund my $15, but I would have to drive to his shop for the refundI stated that is a 40min round trip drive and that I again needed to be refunded to my cardHe then said I should complain to AAA and hung up the phone
