Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] They did not propose any action, which is consistent with their initial unwillingness to even look to see if they made a mistake For your reference, details of the my response to their statement is attached and below Response to Revdex.com response from Johnny on the Spot “I was taken aback to see that we completed this work on January 11, and during my initial conversation Mr [redacted] seem to act like it was within a week or so.” Response – patently false Johnny on the Spot initially only found a work order from two or three years ago – I had to inform them that it had only been “two or three months” ago – I never implied a week or so and that is simply a lie In fact, I was wrong – it was four months, but it was an honest mistake, as opposed to the revisionist language used in this response from Johnny on the Spot Even when the date was found, the person from Johnny on the spot said six months ago – it was four “I responded that I will be glad to send a crew out, but a charge would be associated with a trip to clean the downspout.” Response – patently false Johnny on the Spot offered to send a crew out to re-clean the entire house’s gutters, for which I would be responsible for paying (again) When I informed them I only needed the one downspout cleaned, they said it was not worth their time to do it I offered that if they came and showed me that the debris was recent (oak pollen strands, as opposed to leaves) or unusual (a squirrel nest or something), I would be obliged to pay for the work, as I would have been wrong in my belief that they had missed it the first time, but they continued to refuse since it was “not worth their time” I asked to speak with the owner and was told he would call me – that never happened “Mr [redacted] became very upset and told me that we are going to lose his business, his friends business and anyone that mentions Johnny On The Spot; that he would tell them that we don’t back our work.” Response – patently false I indicated they would lose my business, but I never threatened anything else Obviously, if someone asked me, I would be truthful that was I was not satisfied with their response to this situation, but I did not threaten to do anything proactive other than complain to the Revdex.com, which they made my only recourse by being unwilling to even take a look “In my professional opinion, Mr [redacted] just wanted something for freeHis loud conversation on the phone demanding this to be corrected immediately, him being so rude, and short leads me to believe this.” Response – patently false I indicated from the gthat I had been satisfied with the service of the company for the three or so years I had done business with them and I really thought that they had missed this downspout as an honest mistake I was very calm and civil with the person even though they initially could not find the correct work date I became irritated when the person was not even willing to have someone look at it – he was just assuming the crew did not make a mistake – I, the customer, was explaining that I thought they did make a mistake, and he was completely unwilling to believe that, or even come verify that one way or another I will admit, at the end of the call, I was frustrated and explained that I wanted a call from the owner I asked to speak with him, but I never asked for his number He said the owner would call me, but he never did - yet another instance where the wishes of the customer were ignored by Johnny on the Spot “Mr [redacted] was not being honest, he knew that 4-months of heavy rain clogged his downspout and did not want to pay to have his gutters cleanedThis is a very unreasonable request from a customer and it should be viewed as that by the Revdex.com.” Response – patently false On this past Friday, I had another company come out and clean this particular gutter/downspout The workman found all kinds of leaves, sticks, etcin the entire gutter and the first six-twelve inches of the downspout from the top I asked the workman if he thought it had been cleaned four / five months prior and he said “no way” On Saturday, I cleaned the lower gutter myself at the front of the house because the oak pollen strands were covering the gutter screens and causing some of the water to go over the gutter In the gutter, all I found was the little soot from the shingles – no leaves or other debris to speak of These two gutters are on the same side of the house with the same tree coverage, yet one was expectedly clean and the one in question was full of leaves and debris Had Johnny on the Spot sent someone out to at least look at my concern, I believe they would have found that the crew made a mistake and missed one of my gutters – but they were not even willing to take a look I have been completely honest in this whole affair, and they have been completely unwilling to even look to see if they made a mistake That clearly frustrated me on the phone call and I clearly raised my voice, but I was never disrespectful and simply wanted to talk to someone who could help me solve the problem I never wanted something for free – I had already paid for a service that was not performed adequately (and now I know for sure because I paid someone else to correct their work), and all I wanted was for them to take a look and fix the issue – they were unwilling unless I paid for the whole house service again, which I was unwilling to do Regards, [redacted] ***

Conversation by Jim L[redacted]Mr. [redacted] called our main office line on April 27th,
2016 and I answered the phone. He said we cleaned his gutters and missed a
downspout and would need a crew to come and clean it out. I did not remember
doing any work for Mr. [redacted] recently so I asked could I call...

him back, because
I wanted to pull up his records, #1 to see when we did his work and #2 what
staff went on the job. After reviewing his work order, I was taken aback to see
that we completed this work on January 11, 2016 and during my initial
conversation Mr. [redacted] seem to act like it was within a week or so. I returned
his call within 5 minutes and told Mr. [redacted] that I found his work order;
however it was dated job completed on January 11, 2016. Mr. [redacted] said ok, well
it was a month or so ago and I stated it was over 4 months ago and to be exact
it was 4 months and 11 days ago and we have had over 15” of rain during that
period, almost 10 in just the month of May; and anything could have clogged the
single downspout during that period of time. Mr. [redacted] stated, so, what are you
saying? You should be saying you missed cleaning a gutter downspout and you
should send someone out to clean it. Mr. [redacted] then said I have gutter guards
and I know it’s not my issue. I told Mr. [redacted] that there should have never been
an issue with gutter guards since they protect all debris from the gutters and
downspouts. But he contacted us because he had a problem. And we cleaned his
gutters out thoroughly. I also told him that we make sure that all gutters are
free of debris because we rinse them out and watch the water come down all
spouts.  I responded that I will be glad
to send a crew out, but a charge would be associated with a trip to clean the
downspout. After a 4-month period I cannot guarantee gutter cleaning and there
will be a fee to make that trip with a crew. I asked him didn’t he notice this
prior to a 4-month period and he responded yes but I haven’t had a chance to
call. Mr. [redacted] became very upset and told me that we are going to lose his
business, his friends business and anyone that mentions Johnny On The Spot;
that he would tell them that we don’t back our work. I told Mr. [redacted] our
company always backs our work, but after a almost five month period with
tornadoes, and the wettest season in over 75 years, we just could not send
someone out to check.  I cannot send a
crew to unclog a downspout when I know we cleaned it at the time of service
since we rinse all gutters with clear water. We would have noticed a backup
from a clogged downspout. Mr. [redacted] then threaten me that he was going to write
a letter to the Revdex.com and complain if we don’t follow up and take care of this.
He then asked to speak to my boss and I told him I ran the operations part of
the business and made all operational decisions. He asked if I owned the
business and I told him no I don’t own it but I do run the operations and make
all of operational decisions. He demanded that I give him the owners name and I
then told him Johnny Johnson owned the business, but I would not give out his
direct phone number. I told him I would be glad to come out and clean all of
his gutters again, but I could not come out just to check his down spout. I
told him that I am sure he probably had debris in his downspouts with all of the
bad weather since January 11. The downspout situation is an act of God. We did
not miss cleaning one downspout.  He then
he hung up the phone in my face.  In my professional opinion, Mr. [redacted] just wanted
something for free. His loud conversation on the phone demanding this to be
corrected immediately, him being so rude, and short leads me to believe this. Johnny On The Spot has never had a complaint with the
Revdex.com. We pride ourselves in doing quality work and making sure each customer is
satisfied. Mr. [redacted] was not being honest, he knew that 4-months of heavy rain
clogged his downspout and did not want to pay to have his gutters cleaned. This
is a very unreasonable request from a customer and it should be viewed as that

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted].  They did not propose any action, which is consistent with their initial unwillingness to even look to see if they made a mistake.  For your reference, details of the my response to their statement is attached and below.
Response to Revdex.com response from Johnny on the Spot
 “I was taken aback to
see that we completed this work on January 11, 2016 and during my initial
conversation Mr. [redacted] seem to act like it was within a week or so.”
Response – patently false.  Johnny on the Spot initially only found a
work order from two or three years ago – I had to inform them that it had only
been “two or three months” ago – I never implied a week or so and that is
simply a lie.  In fact, I was wrong – it
was four months, but it was an honest mistake, as opposed to the revisionist
language used in this response from Johnny on the Spot.  Even when the date was found, the person from
Johnny on the spot said six months ago – it was four.
“I responded that I will be glad to send a crew out, but a
charge would be associated with a trip to clean the downspout.”
Response – patently false.  Johnny on the Spot offered to send a crew out
to re-clean the entire house’s gutters,
for which I would be responsible for paying (again).  When I informed them I only needed the one
downspout cleaned, they said it was not
worth their time to do it.  I offered
that if they came and showed me that the debris was recent (oak pollen strands,
as opposed to leaves) or unusual (a squirrel nest or something), I would be
obliged to pay for the work, as I would have been wrong in my belief that they
had missed it the first time, but they continued to refuse since it was “not
worth their time”.  I asked to speak with
the owner and was told he would call me – that never happened.
“Mr. [redacted] became very upset and told me that we are going to
lose his business, his friends business and anyone that mentions Johnny On The
Spot; that he would tell them that we don’t back our work.”
Response – patently false.  I indicated they would lose my business, but
I never threatened anything else.
Obviously, if someone asked me, I would be truthful that was I was not
satisfied with their response to this situation, but I did not threaten to do
anything proactive other than complain to the Revdex.com, which they made my only
recourse by being unwilling to even take a look.
“In my professional opinion, Mr. [redacted] just wanted something
for free. His loud conversation on the phone demanding this to be corrected
immediately, him being so rude, and short leads me to believe this.”
Response
– patently false.  I indicated from the
get-go that I had been satisfied with the service of the company for the three
or so years I had done business with them and I really thought that they had
missed this downspout as an honest mistake.
I was very calm and civil with the person even though they initially
could not find the correct work date.   I
became irritated when the person was not even willing to have someone look at
it – he was just assuming the crew did not make a mistake – I, the customer,
was explaining that I thought they did make a mistake, and he was completely
unwilling to believe that, or even come verify that one way or another.  I will admit, at the end of the call, I was
frustrated and explained that I wanted a call from the owner.  I asked to speak with him, but I never asked
for his number.  He said the owner would
call me, but he never did - yet another instance where the wishes of the customer
were ignored by Johnny on the Spot.
“Mr. [redacted] was not
being honest, he knew that 4-months of heavy rain clogged his downspout and did
not want to pay to have his gutters cleaned. This is a very unreasonable
request from a customer and it should be viewed as that by the Revdex.com.”
Response – patently false.   On this past Friday, I had another company
come out and clean this particular gutter/downspout.  The workman found all kinds of leaves,
sticks, etc. in the entire gutter and the first six-twelve inches of the
downspout from the top.    I asked the workman if he thought it had been
cleaned four / five months prior and he said “no way”.  On Saturday, I cleaned the lower gutter myself
at the front of the house because the oak pollen strands were covering the
gutter screens and causing some of the water to go over the gutter.  In the gutter, all I found was the little
soot from the shingles – no leaves or other debris to speak of.  These two gutters are on the same side of the
house with the same tree coverage, yet one was expectedly clean and the one in
question was full of leaves and debris.
Had Johnny on the Spot sent someone out to at least look at my concern,
I believe they would have found that the crew made a mistake and missed one of
my gutters – but they were not even willing to take a look.  I have been completely honest in this whole
affair, and they have been completely unwilling to even look to see if they
made a mistake.  That clearly frustrated
me on the phone call and I clearly raised my voice, but I was never
disrespectful and simply wanted to talk to someone who could help me solve the
problem.  I never wanted something for
free – I had already paid for a service that was not performed adequately (and
now I know for sure because I paid someone else to correct their work), and all
I wanted was for them to take a look and fix the issue – they were unwilling
unless I paid for the whole house service again, which I was unwilling to do.
Regards,
[redacted]
