Review: On Sept. [redacted] at approx. 5:30pm I and my friend entered the establishment for a meal and drinks. The place had approx. 10-15 employees on staff and the place wasn't full at the time. We ordered our food and drinks and the service was ok through the meal that waitress [redacted] kept checking in on us and even gave some suggestions as to what the best items on the menu was. Approx. 2 hours had lapsed and my friend an I were on our second drinks and had finished our appetizer and entree. We were no where near finished with our drinks and weren't asked to order desert when [redacted] asked if we could wrap up our bill because there was a two hour limit on their tables and we had exceeded the time. I proceeded to question her about were the policy was advertised as such because it was not where to be seen before entering the dimly lit restaurant nor was it something she made clear before we were seated. She then said it was the instruction she was given by her floor manager, [redacted]. I asked to speak with him and she said, "he's over there" and gestured toward the bar area which was all dimly lit which made it hard for me to see anything. At the time this all transpired the restaurant had one large party going on and a few tables full, but approx. 20 tables free. That party was there longer than the both of us.

I told her that by not making there policy in the beginning clear to us that it was unfair to basically kick us out while we still were ordering drinks and possibly dessert. [redacted] says, "sorry" and then leaves abruptly.

My friend and I were very disgusted with the whole incident. According to their policy on the website we were dressed appropriately to be serviced in their establishment and it was ok to bring us food and drinks but, no where does it mention that there is a two hour time limit on being serviced in Johnny Utah's establishment. We both felt discriminated against. If we are paying customers, we should not be pushed out the door without getting the full service or offered the full menu, especially if we are not threatening the business in a negative way.

I will never return to the establishment again nor will I recommend it to anyone.Desired Settlement: I'd like to see a change in this so called "policy" that isn't made clear in writing anywhere in the restaurant or website.

An apology letter from the owner and a refund would be justified as well.
