While driving the Van home, vehicle was pulling to the left and align. did not seem right. I drove back in half hour and mentioned about the issue and requested for any paper work showing 4 Wheel Align. setup (all shops print a wheel alignment details). *** mentioned that he did not pick up paperwork from his sub-let shop. *** wanted me to drop off my van back at his shop for another whole day so that he can take it to the sub-let shop and get the align. fixed. I suggested that I can drive the car to the sub-let shop for an appt. instead of leaving the Van for one whole day. *** insisted that he take the Van himself for 4 wheel Align. We setup an appt. for ***
On *** noticed a crack in WindShield close to WiperAssembly. I brought this up with *** had to remove the Wiper Blade Assembly to replace Struts. *** did not think damage was related. (Safe-Lite Wind Shield expert thought some thing hit the glass to cause damage. Flying debris wouldn't have caused it based on damage location and Hood Angle)
On ***22nd, I remembered my appt. at *** but due to wind shield damage appt in the afternoon. I requested *** to reschedule. *** thought I was giving him unnecessary headache. I again suggested that I take the car for align. my self to save him trouble. *** suggested that I take the Van to Some one else he would return my money. He returned *** and never wanted to see my face and threw me out

Finish the job Did *** Perform 4-While Alignment On My *** Where is the 4-Wheel Alignment Paper work? Where was the work performed? Should i be able to use the same shop to get the 4-Wheel Alignment corrected. Is it fair to ask me to drop of my Van for whole day just to perform 4-Wheel Alignment. If i go to Another shop for 4-Wheel Alignment, i would end up paying any where from *** through *** (based on estimates from couple of shop in my tow

I do not have an alignment machine here I send my alignments out he knew that when he gave me the job to do. I did however on that day forget to get his alignment slip I have it now if he would like a copy. I had just done brand new quick struts to his van I asked him to please drive it for a few days and let it settle up and I would have it re aligned. He skipped his appointment and then got mad at me when I could not meet his demands. He was refunded for the alignment less the discount he insisted I give him at the time the job was done. I have bent over backwards to make this customer happy on price and timing it was never good enough for him.

1) I requested *** for the Alignment Slip but he never tried to get it for me.
2) I was never in a rush, however I wanted to report the issue ASAP so he knows that the problem existed at time of delivery.
3) I knew *** did not have an alignment machine. *** took one whole day for my strut replacement and alignment. When I reported the alignment issue, he wanted Van back for another whole day. Leaving my Van for another whole day just for alignment was definitely a problem but johnny was not willing to provide a specific time. I even suggested that I drive van to sub-contractor directly since *** works by himself (most of the time). But *** insisted he drive it and also wanted van for whole day.

4) 9 days later, I was supposed to drop off my van for alignment at 8AM but I forgot. I remembered around 11 and called. *** never called me) At that time I told him that my Van has window shield damage and not driveable. I requested for another day and also requested him to take only half day. Which he did not agree. I also suggested that I drive the van myself for appt.

5) *** also said that his sub-contractor will not be happy because we are missing our appt. *** suggested I take my Van for alignment to another shop. I did not respond to his suggestion. I told him that I will drop the van another day after checking my schedule. I called *** a bit later to setup an appt. Since *** needed my van for whole day, I brought up his suggestion of taking my van to another shop. *** immediately got angry and told me that he do not want to do business with me any more and asked me to come and take my money and hung up on me. I went to his shop at the end of the day. *** gave me a check for *** and ask me to get out of his shop. He never even gave me opportunity to talk. Per our contract, I need an alignment not ***

8) I have no reason to get mad at *** Many times, I mention to *** that he is a good mechanic. Even though my wind shield damage coincides with *** repair, I did not say a word since my insurnace will cover for it.

9) I agree that I forgot about the appointment. But when some one needs your Van for whole day for 1 hr wheel alignment, is it really called an appointment.

10) The way *** yelled at me when I was at his shop to pick up the check, I will not feel comfortable going back there. Please ask him to mail me my Alignment sheet to my address.

11) After what happened, I rather cut my losses and take care of alignment some where else.

I am not sure what he is asking for at this point.He got his money back for the alignment I did. He is free to take the car else where. I will not pay for him to get another alignment because he has his money back from the one I did. He asked for a better price he got one and now he is upset no one else will match the price I gave I will not pay for him to get another alignment. I never raised my voice to this gentleman I did ask him to leave my shop and have his car fixed else where from now on.
