John's A-1 Auto Body

Back in October my vehicle was taken to John's A-1 Auto Body for an estimate, this was around the the 17th, during this time I expressed my concerns of a clutch/transmission failure.Knowing this [redacted] was able to provide a quote of $4600.00 with a time of completion at six days, gaurenteeing a vehicle in showroom condition as of the 21nd of October.Fast forward to November 6th due to the unavailability of some parts and a large amount of patience on my part, I have maintained contact with [redacted] obtaining situation reports for the last few weeks each time he has assured me that significant progress is being made. I stopped in on November 7th to see how things were coming, unfortunately [redacted] was unavailable at the time, only to find the vehicle in the same condition as when I initially received the estimate; now almost a month has passed and there has been nothing done to my vehicle, not to mention his written guarantee to deliver a finished vehicle prior to October 21nd and the rising amount I owe for a substitute form of transportation.Come the 21st of November I called [redacted] again and he assured me the vehicle was finished, at this point [redacted] had the vehicle towed to a transmission repair center. Once at the repair center I was finally able to look over John's finished product. Only to find the wrong parts installed and astonishing amount of epoxy, which was used to cover poor fitment and damaged components caused during repair.For the following couple of weeks we waited for the new clutch assembly to arrive. Mid-December the clutch assembly arrives and is installed shortly after, the vehicle goes back to John's A-1.It's now early January and I have expressed my concerns to John, he proceeds to threaten me both verbally denying any wrongdoing on their part and proclaiming "I will pay them one way or another" and that "he knows were I live, it's not a problem to pay me a visit to get his money." Heeding his threats, I reluctantly agree to pick the vehicle up the following week...
