Gave estimate for paving driveway in [redacted] we accepted their bid for the job. They were to start in [redacted] Never showed,calls never returned.On [redacted] the owner [redacted] from [redacted] Johns aspalt paving & construction, inc came to our home. Shortly thereafter I received an estimate from [redacted] #XXXXXXX. We had 4 other estimates, but choose [redacted]. I called and was told that the work would be done at the end of [redacted] at the latest. In [redacted] I called several times to find out why the work had not started. Was given vague excuses. The beginning of [redacted] I called again got their answering machine, left a message. No one returned my calls. Called again on [redacted] Their answering machine states that they are now closed for the year until next [redacted]Desired SettlementI would like them to fulfill their obligation and pave my driveway as [redacted] said he would do...this year.Business Response we did give estimate and she did contact us about getting job done. We never received deposit and she wanted to be done on a [redacted] because of a handicap daughter at home we have lost 2 truck drivers in the past 2 months and we don't want to open driveway and not be able to close it creating an unsafe situation. I had contacted her at the beginning of [redacted] to inform her that our daughter had broken her leg and my husband did take quite a few days off for that.
