To Whom This May Concern: I [redacted] with [redacted]'s Contractor Service L.L.C to do some work on [redacted]. The stated I was  giving myself seven days to complete the work, payments would be paid within that seven days.  The homeowner was suppose the supply, have the materials...

available at homeowners request. It didn't work out that way. I had to come out of pocket to supply the materials to get the job started, and had to go and pick up the tile that the homeowner ordered to keep the job on schedule. The first day when we were to start on the job, the homeowner did not have the key to get into the home, and  I wasn't to get in contact with him until 10:00am. The home owner did not have the key available until 1:00pm, and I had to contact him again, because did not call to tell he had put the key in the lockbox. The tile he initially brought were of low grade. I tried to contact the homeowner to contact the homeowner like any other time, and it was always hard to get in touch with him.  After installing some of those tiles on the shower floor, I came to the realization that we were not going to be able to fully install those tiles in the manner I would like too. Before I install the hardy board, I spoke to homeowner about the framing that was done to his shower by someone else was off by 3/4 of inch on one wall from front to back. He respond was that the original structure framing was not square. That's why when we installed the hardy board the had a gap at the bottom. Before homeowner went  to purchase the some more tile he began to undermine my craftsmanship, the same way I performed on countless other customer who bathroom I renovated, and never had a problem. Also I had to do some other framing on the interior & exterior walls around the toilet area, so I could install hardy board around the toilet area. I was not able to complete the job in the timely matter that's stated on contract, do to homeowner neglect, and lack of timely payments.

Review: Well it all started ok. Found this guy on google. Got a bid and had him start working. There were a few problems getting all the tile to the site and then the tile I picked out was not the same size. So I brought it back and got better tile. When I dropped off the tile I looked at the "work" (if you can call it work) that [redacted] had done. It was very poor "work" indeed. NOT to building code at all. The job was to tile a shower and install the shower pan. Per building code the shower pan should have a rubber lining that extends a minimum of 6 inches above the floor tile behind the hardy board. [redacted] did not even have it going above the floor tile by 1/4 inch and in some spots not above the tile at all. Also the hardy board had huge gaps and was not flush. If I had not seen this my house would have started to rot from the water leaking thought the shower pan. I then texted [redacted] and told him that this work was unacceptable and that he had two choices...1. Return all of my money including the material cost of the material he messed up. Or 2. Rip it out and do it correctly. I even sent him internet links on how to install it properly hoping he would appreciate the fact that I was trying to help him not screw up not only my house but every house he works on from now on. Instead he has done neither...fix his mess up or return my money. He incorrectly installed a total of 12 tiles that is $100/tile!! Rip of!The reason this is a heath issue is that the leak that would have occurred would have then provided water for black mold to grow in my house. This guy is NOT A+ Revdex.com contractor he is F- at best.Everyone should avoid him like ebola...unless you want your house to rot from very poor workmanship!!! Any one that would like to see the pictures of his not to building code "work" can email me at [redacted]Desired Settlement: Every single penny$1198I.e. A full refund.
