Review: [redacted] advertised on-line a deal for $130 worth of home improvement services for $65 through the Entertainment Daily Deal. Before I bought the voucher, I called him and asked if I could use the voucher to have molding put into my bedroom. He sounded very nice and said the voucher would be enough for the work, so I bought it. Then when I called [redacted] to make an appointment, first he told me he'd like to come out to take a look at the job before scheduling an appointment to do the work, but he didn't have his book and to call back. I did and got no answer for several weeks. When I reached him, he told me he was too busy and to call back in three weeks. I wasn't pleased, but I called back in three weeks. Then he told me he hadn't done molding in a long time and didn't know if he could do it. Then he stopped answering the phone or calling back. I asked for a refund from him and from Daily Deal and both have ignored me. I note that I still see advertisements by [redacted] through Daily Deals and other promoters on-line that offer similar service discounts. I feel lied to, cheated, and taken for a ride.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the $65 I paid for the voucher that [redacted] will not honor. I believe this to be false advertising--and it continues!

Response:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, a copy of the voucher I bought is attached and it clearly says "no expiration date." Furthermore, an advertisement is attached from a webpage where [redacted] was currently running an ad when I filed this complaint. On both subjects he continues to lie.
