Customer brought his boat in for repairs on 11/28/16, with the complaint that the engine was hard to start and now would not start. part would need to be ordered before the system could be completely checked and that the engine may need more repairs. Once the part was received, it was installed on the engine. The engine started right up, at the shop, the customer was informed and he paid the bill and picked up his boat. In later days, we received a call from the customer stating that he could not start his engine. He was advised to bring the boat back to the shop to be checked. Customer returned with the boat and it was started at the shop with the customer here and his own witness. The shop was closed for the holidays from 12/23/16 until 01/03/17. Upon our return, there were several phone messages from the customer stating that the engine would not start and he was demanding a refund. The customer was called and he was advised to return the boat at his earliest convenience and we would remove the new part that was installed and reinstall his old part and give him a full refund. On 01/05/17, customer returned with the boat, his old part was put back on and he was given a full refund.
