I had lost my job and got behind on a few credit card bills. I always had an almost perfect credit rating and I wanted to do the right thing so I contacted Consumer Credit Counselors CCC to set up reduced payments and freeze interest rates until I got employed and back on my feet. Everyone of my creditors agreed to terms with CCC except Indiana members credit union or IMCU. They harassed me and threatened to sue me through a lawyer they had retained. I know the debt is mine and I tried to do the right thing. I have never gone through a hardship like this. It was devastating to say the lease but to be harassed and not worked with just made it that much harder. Shame on IMCU I had been a member for over 19 yrs before this happened and they treated me like a criminal. and they charged me for copies of my checking statements that I needed to refinance my home so I could reduce payment to pay creditors like themselves. unbelievable.

Horrible service. Will tell you what ever to gain your business. VERY RACIST. They break policies agreements and regulations.
