Johnson Car Company

I drove 1 hour from Chicago to test drive a Toyota Prius for my niece. I spoke to the owner over the course of 2 days. When I got to the dealership the car looked really nice, just like the pictures. I got in the car to take it for a test drive with my niece and could not believe that the brakes were not working properly. There were several panel lights flashing and there was a clear issue with the brakes not functioning. When I informed the owner the brakes were not working, he said, "than don't buy it" I explained to him that I drove 1 hour from Chicago and I did not appreciate that he was about to let me test drive a care with no brakes, He continued to tell me don't buy it than, along with other rude comments. We ended up getting in a very heated argument and he told me to get off of his lot. This was a terrible experience for my niece, but at least she got to see a crooked car dealership first hand. I hope her experience with the Johnson Car Company and this review will help other people stay clear of this dealership.
