This is my response to [redacted] complaint. We gave Mrs. [redacted] a bid of $ 15,480.00 to purchase materials for her Son's mobile home roof cover. Mrs. [redacted] accepted the bid, and we ordered the materials. Then, Mrs [redacted] called our office to tell us, " that she wants us to call her Son... ***, and tell him a lie that he was a winner of a donation to get a new roof cover " Note that Mrs [redacted] had nothing but loving intent for her Son [redacted] to do something good for him! So, I left tons of messages with ***. Finally Mrs [redacted] called me back to say, " You know, I am just gonna level with [redacted] and let him know that his deceased Father left the money aside for him to get this project done". My response was...Great!! Because we were uncomfortable with telling [redacted] a white lie about a donation. From there I set up the appt with [redacted] at his Forest Ranch home. [redacted] and I had a nice meeting, knowing that [redacted] had a big drinking problem. He was drinking at 10 am when I met with him. Later that evening [redacted] call his Mom.... Mrs ***, and told her he did not want any work done, and to crame the materials where the sun does not shine! He then called my cell phone 12 times that night threatening to kill me, and or my crew if we come on his property to work. My wife Robyn heard the messages... we were shocked at his drunk behavior, but did not know him. I decided to take his call, he settled down a little, and said he hates his Mom, and does not want any favor from her ever!! Mrs [redacted] and myself were on the phone 4 different times that night just upset that he would talk and treat her like that, not to mention threatening my life, and my crews!! Mrs [redacted] next request was that she spoke to her daughter, and that her daughter was going to get [redacted] off his property and wanted us to deliver the materials. My first response was okay... then, when I got home and told my wife Robyn about it, she said " Hell no your not, that crazy drunk will show up and kill all of you "!! So, I called Mrs [redacted] and told her we do not want to put ourselves in that dangerous position... how about you trucking up the materials in some other means? Mrs [redacted] sat on that for awhile the called back to say that her and her daughter wanted us to deliver the materials to [redacted] wildlife animal refuge, which we have donated to for years. In the meantime we already refunded her a check for labor of $ 4,070.00. She wanted us to hurry and deliver the materials, and I told her unfortunately we were in the middle of 2 big jobs with tons of liability exposure because of wet weather... Our timing was not working for her, so she got upset. I told Mrs [redacted] we could get the materials up to [redacted] the following week which we did. Also, it was Mrs [redacted] direction to not do anything more for her Son ***, and donate to [redacted] wildlife because of her Grandsons involvement with [redacted] before his death. Once we delivered all materials to [redacted] , Mrs [redacted] met us there and was very rude and demanding on every detail, when she created this mess!! We have a been in business for 25 years, and have never been involved with such a emotional, drunk, family situation like this. We are not willing to be the scap goat on this matter. I will be open to discuss anything further with the RevDex.com. This contract has been fulfilled properly financially on our end, and Mrs [redacted] is trying to potentially take this personally, and financially to another level which is not right!!

To whom it may concern; 1.) [redacted] paid the whole amount because she said to Robyn that she did not want to deal with any other payments! We did not request full payment. 2.) Did not tell [redacted] there would be a $ 2,000.00 savings, told her that there was a increase of $ 487.00 dollars 3.) Her son [redacted] does not even check his voice mail until lunch, and dinner time everyday. [redacted] is a drunk, angry man with his Mother. [redacted] also called multiple times to my house and threatened to kill me 4. & 5.) [redacted] would not call me back. Joannne was even frustrated and wanted to continue to lie to [redacted] about the helping hand group donating a snow roof for him as a gift. Another lie for [redacted] 6. & 7.) [redacted] told me he did not want anything from his step Father, or his Mother. He also told me he did not ever want them in his life. or on his property 8.- 13.) When [redacted] called our house drunk 20 times. I told him I would give the money back to his Mother, which we wrote a labor check back to [redacted] for the $ 4,075.00 17.) [redacted] and her daughter still wanted us to deliver materials to [redacted]'s property, with no consideration of our crews danger from a man who is drunk. and threatening our lives 18.) No, we cancelled job due to a drunk man threatening to kill us, and our crew. Which, [redacted] knew about, and [redacted] also threatened her also 19.) Her cost of materials is from Home Depot, which does not even do packages of that sort. [redacted] can talk all day about what she can get materials for, none of her logic stands grounds 20.) [redacted] asked for us to donate the materials to Kirshners Wildlife Foundation, which we did. Yes, it took us 2 loads to get all materials to Kirshners. [redacted] was being rude, ridiculous, and I had enough. Told her to just wait until our crew unloaded everything before she started her emotional break down, which is a common occurence for [redacted]. She told me she just wanted to die, and go to heaven multilple times 21.) We were trying to be compassionate, but after awhile, it was a very dis-functional, and draining process with [redacted] and [redacted]'s internal drama

As a follow up, Greg J[redacted] called me at 10:30, on 9-11-2015. He explained his reason for the slow response, and as of today we have a scheduled start date.
At the conclusion of the job, I will give a detailed opinion of my experience and their quality of work.

Review: Break Down day to day

#1.) Contacted [redacted] roofing. He said if I paid today on 8-18-2014, I would save $2,000, as prices of lumbar would be going up friday 8-22-2014.

I went to his office in Chico and paid 11,410.00 plus labor 4,070.00. He was to contact my son, [redacted] in Forest Ranch, CA.

Didn't contact [redacted] till 8-29-2014. Made appt for 9-2-14 at 11:00 a.m. at [redacted]'s by 6:00 p.m. [redacted] was mad and didn't want a new roof. Told me to get my money back. [redacted] called Mr. [redacted] and there was an ugly conversation as Mr. [redacted] said he would not work on roof unless [redacted] was gone. I guess it was a shouting match. Mr. [redacted] called me 9-4 early and cancelled.

9-5 Mr. [redacted] definitely would not do roof as he didn't want to work with [redacted]. Said he was too difficult and threatened him.

9-6 early, did as Mr. [redacted] said, "tell [redacted] I returned all your money." I drove to [redacted]'s early a.m. And let him know. Mr. [redacted] said, "He would do right by me, but he had already ordered material and could not stop delivering as it was coming from wholesale business in Los Angeles.

I ask, "How did you know what to Deliver, you hadn't seen [redacted] property?" He said, "I do 300 roofs a year and it is a standard 8x40 ft. trailer, no problem."

#2 Waited for Mr. [redacted] to call me. No call's from 9-14 to 9-19. I called Mr. [redacted] 9-19 and 9-20 left messages. His reply when he called, he was at a church meeting at the coast and would return labor money, but he had put on craigslist and some other place to try and sell "Trusses".

#3 Finally went to [redacted]'s office to get labor money returned. He said, "I'll have [redacted] make you out a check this date 9-24 at 7:30 a.m. I told him I wanted the company name where he bought the materials. He said, "I've tried, but they were already being shipped on freightliner truck and stored? (I didn't know where)

He would not give me the name.

I ask Mr. [redacted] if he could deliver the material to [redacted] (my son's property( and I would make sure he would not be there. I thought [redacted] could put up his own roof, but would have all materials I paid for.

He said OK.

#4 Called Mr. [redacted] 9-27-14 would set date to deliver to [redacted]'s property would let me know. I was very upset.

#5 No call's so I called Mr. [redacted] 9-29, called 9-30-14 7:00 a.m.

#6 Rec. Check 10-6-2014 for labor 4,075.00

#7 Gave up and it seemed he was not going to deliver materials to [redacted], so I ask if he would deliver to Kirshiners Wildlife. He would try and work into his time. He was very busy.

#8 Made appt for 10-15-14 to deliver. He cancelled.

#9 Called [redacted] and said how upset this was making (Oct. 17). She would have him call me back. [redacted] called and her husband would load trailer and deliver 10-20-14 in afternoon. Call me and let me know I want to be there.

#10 10-19-14 was to call me early and let me know when to be there on monday. No call.

#11 [redacted] called and cancelled, was too busy repairing roofs because of the rain.

#12 Called [redacted], returned my call and basically set up appt for 10-23 will call and let me know.

#13 Called and wasn't sure when he would be there. I called [redacted], Kirshiners Wildlife and let her know if she could take inventory.

#14 Delivery to Kirschners. Left mesage on my cell phone. All materials delivered and gave info. to [redacted].

#15 [redacted] called me, upset, only a small amount of material delivered, she had one of the workers she uses to look at material. He told her if he stretched it there might be about $2,700.00 material.

#16 Told [redacted] (my daughter) would be there monday 10-27. When we checked inventory and saw all was missing [redacted] called [redacted], got [redacted] and said her husband would call back. We waited and waited. Finally he called and said, "he had left messages Twice with [redacted]." It was a lie, [redacted] check, no messages and was waiting with me. [redacted] called back again and he answered. She told him of everything that was missing. He said, "The helpers had all the material but no place to put it, and it might rain." [redacted] said, "I'm looking at an empty building 10-15 ft. from me, why didn't they unload and put under storage?" He said he would be there with rest of delivery on tuesday 10-28. He cancelled. Too busy.

#17 I had talked to my neighbor, [redacted] about my ordeal. He said, "you call him and tell him you want a "cost breakdown." I called and let him know and please have it ready for me. Call and let me know when you would be there.

#18 no phone call, so I left messages I would be at Kirshner's 11- 12:00 on Wednesday 10-29. Was there, no [redacted]. 12:06 called office, [redacted] said, "Oh he's at [redacted] with big truck picking up supplies." I said "That doesn't be the supplies he was to have paid for in August?" She said, "Oh, no its for another client. He should be there by 1:00."

#19 He showed up with 3 P.U. trucks and 4 young men and lg truck, he cam in P.U. 1:30 p.m. 10-29. He gave me inventory cart break down sheet.

I said, "What's all this? You have enlarged the list from the one I have in my hand. His reply, "Throw that away, it's not any good. [redacted] made mistakes, she didn't know what she was doing." I said, "I've received three copies already." He said they are all wrong. Haven't you made mistakes before?

As the boys were unloading, I told him you need to tell me what it is so I can mark off. One delivery was wrong right from the start. I ask Mr. [redacted] "why are these boards shorter than the others? Are those the two you short us?"

He became extremely unkind, yelled at me, told me how bad I was , and he had his fill of me and he never had anyone that was as horrible as me etc etc etc. He yelled he was sick of me and was leaving. As he begin to walk away and get in his truck, I said, "OK leave, maybe the helpers will help me." He came back still yelling and that he would stay. I won't put on paper all he said. When someone yells at me, I shut down and stand like a wuss. I did ask one questions, "Why are you leaving me (15) glu laws beams instead of original order (8)? I don't really know the answer, I was trying so hard not to let him him see me cry.

After everything was off of truck except cement bags. I began to walk where they were unloading. Mr. [redacted] said, "I'm cooled off now, I'll walk with you." We did and continued to take pictures as I had been doing.

I was finished and I walked toward my truck and the flood gate of tears opened. I was so sick at heart and my stomach hurt. I just wanted to leave.

Mr. [redacted] yelled, "[redacted], wait up." I kept walking. He caught up with me and said, "I'm sorry I yelled, are you ok?" I said, "no, leave me alone." He said "I'll walk you to your truck." I again said, "no leave me alone." Sat in my truck and broke down.

#20 Went to lumber companies to get prices on what [redacted] had given me. Went to Payless and she printed out info. Then went to [redacted], and they said they need the numbers of material. Went back to Kirshners and took pictures of numbers. Had pic's developed, took back to [redacted] and they gave me a cost if I ordered material list.

I kept track on my calender as I was getting a "run around" and began to not trust Mr. [redacted].

Please read the personal letter I have endured. It will be marked "Personal"Desired Settlement: Refund.
