First I'd like to say I don't believe I was rude to ***, if so I apologize I did not intend to be
I tried to explain the curbs were built to the mfg specs. Unfortunately *** told me the original sheet-rockers phone number was lost
The contractor that was going to frame & sheet
rock the skylight requested we build the curbs & install the same as we always do
The skylights were installed the same way as the previous 100+ that Johnson Roofing has installed over the years of business prior to this installation. ***'s framer admitted he had never framed or sheet rocked a skylight tunnel. Had he had the experience this would not be an issue
If the homeowner wants additional vents I will install them. If the bathroom exhaust hose came disconnected I will reconnect them
As far as paying to reframe the skylights it was not necessary for them to be reframed, so no I will not pay for his reframing
Sincerely,
Steve G***

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***I would like to have the exhaust ventilation connected as it was never connected during the roof installationI will schedule this with the business
Sincerely, *** ***
**1 per 150 sq ft which does not include the garage.**
I do not have a contract on file for [redacted]. I do in fact have a contract for the address he is referring to again not with [redacted]. The contract is not transferrable. Permits are the responsibility of the homeowner. That being said I was called by [redacted] to return to the residence 3 years after the install. [redacted] had informed me he had several other contractors out, knowing that others were in the attic I can only assume the exhaust vent was disconnected during that time. I have no problem as I stated previously of going back & re-attaching the exhaust vent. Any work done on the roof by another contractor will void the warranty as with any warranty.
As far as [redacted] feeling like I was talking down to him that is absolutely incorrect.
Thank you
