Dear Ms ***,Thank you for the opportunity to respond to the identified claim This vehicle was dropped off at our facility early on morning for us to check out The customer then came and picked up the vehicle before we were able to check it Later that same day the vehicle was brought back to us and were told to repair the vehicle At that time the consumer was told that she would be called with an estimate just to make sure When she was called she was told the repairs would be approximately $and if she needed she could split the cost into two payments At that time we were given the ok to fix the vehicle The vehicle was torn down and the radiator removed We could not locate the radiator in town and the part had to be ordered The customer called 1/hours later and said that she found someone else in town that could fix the vehicle cheaper and would have her vehicle towed She was informed at that time we do not allow a vehicle that we have torn down to be towed, we must put it back together and she would therefore owe the labor for the technician to do this.Responding to the cost of the entire repair the parts portion on the repair was $less a 10% discount for a total of $210.60, the labor was the stated $and sales tax was $for a total of $ The total of the ticket was $less than the agreed upon estimate The cooling system was pressure tested and flushed Different vehicles have different stated labor rates for repair and reinstall of a radiator.We would be happy to offer the customer a $gas card as an effort towards goodwill as we do not like to have unhappy customers

brought back to us and were told to repair the vehicle.  At that time the consumer was told that she would be called with an estimate just to make sure.  When she was called she was told the repairs would be approximately $550 and if she needed she could split the cost into two payments.  At that time we were given the ok to fix the vehicle.  The vehicle was torn down and the radiator removed.  We could not locate the radiator in town and the part had to be ordered.  The customer called 1 1/2 hours later and said that she found someone else in town that could fix the vehicle cheaper and would have her vehicle towed.  She was informed at that time we do not allow a vehicle that we have torn down to be towed, we must put it back together and she would therefore owe the labor for the technician to do this.Responding to the cost of the entire repair the parts portion on the repair was $234.00 less a 10% discount for a total of $210.60, the labor was the stated $300.00 and sales tax was $17.37 for a total of $527.97.  The total of the ticket was $22.02 less than the agreed upon estimate.  The cooling system was pressure tested and flushed.  Different vehicles have different stated labor rates for repair and reinstall of a radiator.We would be happy to offer the customer a $50.00 gas card as an effort towards goodwill as we do not like to have unhappy customers.
