Review: In May 2012 my wife and I contracted with Johnson surveying and construction services. We needed a parcel of land surveyed in New Jersey. WE gave Mr. Johnson a 600.00 dollar retainer to begin. Mr. Johnson promised he could do the job . After a few months of waiting we gave Mr. Johnson another 200.00 dollars as suggested so he could get started. But we continued to receive excuse after excuse . Finally after more than a year waiting we informed Mr. Johnson we were terminating our contract with him and hiring another contractor, he apologized and said he understood .We also informed him in writing to please return our retainer of 800.00 dollars .So far he has refused to do so and will not answer our calls or correspondence.Desired Settlement: my wife and I would like our 800.00 dollar retainer returned to us .
