In response to his second complaint the very first day we removed his awnings from the building which [redacted] and his son assisted [redacted] said the building looked better already with the awnings off There was no workmanship involved and no complaints Again I reiterate that the awnings were removed the first day, then the tuckpointing was done in about four days followed by painting cornice one day, brush blasting building to clean,one day and which I got paid for at end of day and one day to waterproof I spent a week and one half there and [redacted] was there most of the time and had no complaints the whole time until the end of the job.If he was upset by the tuck pointing [redacted] had a good week to tell me and/or kick me off the job for poor workmanship [redacted] did neither I have been in business for thirty years and this is not the first time this has happened to me [redacted] is trying to take advantage of the situationI also know that I what this resolved very soon I gave him an offer to try to resolve this but have not heard back.s why here
I am rejecting this response because: When he removed the awnings he damaged a few spots that needed repairHe attempted to repair but it's already cracking where he "repaired" this damagePlus, the material he used to repair does not match the stone at allHe never finished tuck pointingHe didn't tuck point where all the cracks are in the old mortarI specifically pointed the spots out to himThe tuck pointing he did do, some spots the width is too wideOther spots the new mortar does not even come close to color matching the old mortar or stoneThe very first week I told him how I was unhappy with his work and what he needed to fixHe simply ignored me because he didn't want to do all the work he was contracted for but wants the paycheckThe cornice he painted is uneven, running, and pealingI also directly told him not to waterproof the building until his tuck pointing is approved and I sign off on itHe went ahead and did it anywaysThe material he used has caused running streaks, and blacknessHe has never provided me any information on the product he used or if it was even the correct product to useHe damaged a light pull and never repaired thatHe has never contacted me about resolving the issue and has never gave an offer to settleHe has not provided me a copy of liability insurance or returned any phone calls and has not contacted me through email or mail

*** was there almost every day and had no problem with my work until the very end of the job everything was fine until the end of the job and then he started complaining we are working on a settlement
