Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/06/08) */ Contact Name and Title: [redacted] GM Contact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXX The customer ask us to repair the outlet in his rent houseIt's hard to give a price on a trouble shooting job on the phoneWe went out there and it took one of our best technician over two hour to try to find out what is going on with the outlet which was working when we arrivedThe owner told us he tried repairing the outlet firstCould not locate a problem so just replaced GFCIThe owner said he was not going pay more than 75$We settled on $Tried to tell owner that could not give an exact price before for trouble shooting and he was not onsiteThen he called back a week later said it was doing it againWe went back out and it was back on when we arrivedRenter said it goes of randomlyReset GFCI and ran Ground fault test on circuit could not find a problemTold renter need to catch it not workingRenter call next week and it was not working when we arrivedWe located a GFCI under insulation in attic which was not legally done among other splices in wires in atticThe two GFCI were inline were causing GFCI in bathroom problemsRepaired the problem and leftThe renter call back and said the ceiling fan in other room was not working nowThen owner call back and said he did not want us backHe wanted his money backWe have a 100% satisfaction guarantee and we told him we would refund his moneyWe told him it would be refunded after the first of the month when we pay billsBefore we refunded it the owner call back and wanted us to go back and undo what we didTold him that was not possible to go back create a code violationWe refunded his money and now he has call Revdex.com and is credit card company telling them that we ran his card and he did not authorize us to run itBut he gave us the card number over the phoneNow he wants us to pay for he other person that supposedly came out and repaired the problem with lightOwner would not give us name or receipt of who came outWe refused to pay his feeWe try to make all customer completely happyBut we fail in this case Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (2000, 7, 2015/06/11) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) The job needed two electricians to fish the wire down the wallAn hour service call is the same price whether it is for one or two electriciansA service call is a set price for the first hourAfter the first hour, there is an hourly charge per man per half hourThe job would've taken longer and been more expensive if only one electrician was sentOur electrician marked the invoice with men for hours to complete the jobHowever, since the first hour is the service call charge, the price of the labor came out less than the hourly rateThe customer was confused on the pricing and I have spoken with her to explain the pricingI have also sent her a copy of the invoiceShe is now satisfied with the billIf any other information is needed, please do not hesitate to let me know
