Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***Please add your rejection comments below.
Despite the fact that the original employee I was dealing with (that assured me the package must be there) is no longer employed with the company, the package WAS signed for (as per the *** tracking)As such, the responsibility should fall on this business to replace/recover the missing items
The business' position that they are not responsible for missing items (despite signing for them) suggests paying for a reputable shipping service and tracking system is pointless
Also, the statement that this service is offered as a "convenience" to Canadian customers is quite misleading as this has not been convenient at all
Just to confirm: I'm not as ***et at the package being lost as I am about being misled that it was there and not being told I should submit a claim to recover the lost item

Dear Revdex.com, We are a shipping depot in Calais, MeI am responding to this complaint as best that I can I had not heard anything about a missing package at our location until Mr*** reached me approximately the end of
OctoberAt that time I told him that we had our package person get done with the company and that I would go down into that area and would go through all the packagesI did that several times and let Mr*** know that it was not hereI explained to Mr*** of how the process works at our location and I will tell you. The delivery trucks arrive at our receiving location located at the back of the store, they unload all the packages on pallets and then come in and we sign for the pallet of packages, we do not sign for each packagesOur employee then goes out and brings in the packages to the room where we sign in the packagesSigning in packages involves taking each package one by one and on index cards writes the customer's name, the last four digits of the tracking number, the date of arrival, location of where the package is being placed in our storage area and the cost to the customer for handling the packageThe package is than tagged as to the location and the index card is placed in the file This is the same way every package is handled and we have had as many as packages a day arrive. So when Mr*** got in touch with me, I went to our receiving area and the first thing I did was go through the index cards, not finding any card I ask our new employees what they knew about this package and they didn't know anything as the other person had gotten donewe went through all the packages again Unfortunately Mr*** was not told about filing a claim with *** at that time, as there is a time frame for doing that. We are very sorry for Mr*** on the loss of his package, but we feel that we shouldn't have to replace these glassesWe do this as a convince for our Canadian customersWe are not responsible for a lost packages.
