Review: I took my 2001 freight liner tow truck to Johnson's for repair on the exhaust. Spoke to [redacted] the mechanic and he stated no problem I can fix it for $150.00 I told him to fix it. This was on 9/15/2014. Later that day he called me said it was ready I paid him and picked the truck up. On 11/15/2014 on a Sunday the noise came back louder and exhaust fumes we coming in the truck. My wife [redacted] called Johnson's on Tuesday 11/18/2014 and the service guy told her to bring it in so I did. [redacted] had not even looked at it and started yelling from the doorway "I told you, you needed a flex joint". This was the first I was hearing about this and upon looking at it with [redacted] I seen where he had cut the old flex joint out and replaced it with a straight pipe. [redacted] knew it would not hold because the exhaust has to move with the truck. I had them call the owner in and as soon as [redacted] seen it his statement was " [redacted] should have never done this repair, this was a bar frieght liner job" [redacted] also stated " You got your 90 days out of it" I stated it had only been 2 months he asked for a recepit and I told him I did not have it with me [redacted] stated" We did not charge you $150.00 for this repair anyway". Well he did and [redacted] repaired it wrong also [redacted] removed a vital piece of the exhaust that had nothing wrong with it, the flex joint was intact and should never have been removed or at the very least another one should have been put on. Johnson's took $150.00 dollars and did not repair it correctly and now [redacted] does not want to stand behind his mechanic or 90 day warranty. I want my money back. If [redacted] does not know how to repair big trucks exhaust properly then he should not say he can and then take someone's hard earned money. He should not lie to his boss about how he handled the sale of the service either. Customer service is very poor at Johnson's and if I were [redacted] my customer's would come first. If something is repaired wrong fix it, It's simple not rocket science.Desired Settlement: I want my $150.00 dollars refunded to me. You can not just take someones money and not fix the problem.

Johnsons ok used cars made contact with the customer and to an agreement to fully refund any and all monies received whichwas 150.00 dollars. On thorsday12/18/2014 all american towing received received check from johnsons for 150.00 which was a full refund.The cheek# was32606 for 150.00 and [redacted] picked up the check in person and signed for her full refund on behalf of all american towing.[redacted] stated that her husband has already bought the exhaust part from crw in salisbury,md
