start off, Mr. [redacted]’s live-in partner, [redacted], was an independent contractor for Join Solar. She was hired on June 20, 2016 she brought in a signed Prospective Customer Intent Form from Join Solar with Mr. [redacted]’s signature. On July 1, 2016 Mr. [redacted] signed a loan documents with Renew Finance which states the Royal Aire, Inc was the contractor who was doing the installation. These were Docu-signed from his email that this complaint was initiated from: [redacted].We installed panels at [redacted] on July 18 2016. He needed to have a panel upgrade done on his electrical panel and we had to apply for that through [redacted]. This process takes 4-6 weeks to go through [redacted]’s process. After completion of the panel upgrade we scheduled a final inspection on October 11, 2016, Which we passed and we have the signed inspection card from the City of Chico. There were no failed inspections. It does say a partial fail but only because the customer ha to sign an affidavit from the City of Chico regarding smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, which we did get the same day and dropped off to the building department. Mr. [redacted] then stated that we will do nothing about the smell. The first I knew about a smell was on Jan. 10, 2017. I called to see what we can do to resolve this John stated that it was not my issues and hung up the phone. He has not allowed Join Solar or Royal Aire to resolve any of his issues and he hung up the phone on most of our attempts to help him resolve his complaint. The first time Mr. [redacted] called Join Solar was after he received an invoice which was on Dec 20, 2016. He then spoke with me again on the 21 th of December. The last time I reached out to him was on Jan 11, in which he again hung up on me.
