My year old mother was discharged with the promise that a nurse would be coming by to check on her according to the social worker, [redacted] The paperwork she was provided had the name of a company with an appointment dateNo one came, and when we finally got a hold of someone three days later they told us that no one would be coming for up to three weeksIt seems the social worker misunderstood or misrepresented information that a nurse was coming to care for my elderly motherInstead it was left up to us to rush around and make many calls trying to sort this mess outI left messages for supervisors and [redacted] to call me to explain how they would leave a year old stroke patient home alone for three weeks with no medical care, but no one has bothered to return my callsAll I wanted was an explanation and an apologyPlease be aware that things may not appear as they seem, leaving your elderly and sick family to fend for their ownDisgraceful!!!
