Let me start by saying that this customer was offered a 100% refund on this item and refused itThe shotgun he purchased was factory new but had a minor blemish in the forearm, we offered to sell another forearm for $and he agreed to purchaseThis forearm some how incurred some minor damage that was not present at the time it was shippedI told the customer we would have to get another forearm for this shotgun which involved having one made "in Turkey" and air freighted over to the USA and forwarded on to him (prior to the date of this letter)This new forearm was shipped directly to this customer by the importer and should arrive to him this weekThe real issue is with this customer insisting that our ad says "free freight" if shipped by mailIt does not state that and has never been an option ON DOMESTIC FIREARM SHIPMENTSThe ad stated that ground UPS was $and that is what was chargedFrom the time this customer called to pay for the item and beyond he was told that we do not ship US mailThe reason we don't ship is that to be compliant with ATF and not violate federal law we MUST be able to track, have tracking and adult signature requirements in place and mail service does not have those options and the ones that they offer are more cumbersome and expensive so no option is given.
This customer was told that at time of check out that we do NOT ship Firearms via US mailNON FIREARM items such as scopes and mounts can be shipped via US mail (where tracking of packages are are not requirements of law)In conclusion I would like to point out that Gun Broker ENCOURAGES customers with questions to ask before assumingI have been in contact with Gun Broker and in fact cc them in emails between this customer and myselfSimply stated this customer wants to write and interpret what "he believes" he has not accepted nor has he stated that facts of this matter INCLUDING HIS REFUSAL TO TAKE A 100% REFUNDI am going to take the last feed backs I have had from Gun Broker and allow you to see current feedback even though we have 1000's of themPlease see below:
