Good morning,I would like to confirm that there were calls to [redacted] her to pay off a debt as she stated. There were issues with the phone lines in August due to a trial run for a conversion to a new system that caused the system and office to shut down for several days. This may be the... reason why there was confusion on this office's part on the payment that she attempted. As far as verification, there is a system in place in which verification letters are sent to the debtor once the initial contact is made with a debtor. If she did not get that letter, it was probably a product of the office shutting down for several days interfering with certain processes that occur during the days of initial contact.We just moved into a new office in July and have not updated the contact information for the law office on the [redacted] as of yet. This update will be complete very soon as this seems to be a source of confusion on [redacted] part. Most of the business for this office comes from criminal defense practice and the priority to update the [redacted] wasn't high due to the fact that the [redacted] does not operate as a sales point for the criminal market. That business generally comes from word of mouth. There are now different phone lines with different extensions, a new address, and other changes since the last update of the [redacted] .
