I stand behind my contact 100% I will replace her puppy

To Whom It May ConcernWhen Ms [redacted] purchased her puppy it was in excellent condition The puppy was up to date on all age appropriate shots and de-worming and there was no issues with the puppies eyes The puppy was inspected by Ms [redacted] and was found to be in great condition After the puppy left my home Ms [redacted] was to have the puppy seen by a licensed Veterinary within hours After the puppy is seen by the Veterinary I ask (in the contract that she signed) that Ms [redacted] return a copy of the vet paperwork to me so I know that the puppy has been seen and that the puppy is in good health per her choice of Veterinary That paperwork was never returned to me I didn’t receive any information until approximately 1.5-months later Her boyfriend called me to inform me that they were having an issue with the puppies eye He also told me that they were going to consult with an ophthalmologist to see what the next course of action would be for the puppy After that appointment I received a call from Ms [redacted] on January 15, and that's when Ms [redacted] asked me for a full refund for the purchase price of the puppy due to the expense that they would have getting the puppies eye fixed I then informed Ms [redacted] that it states in the contract (that she signed) that I do not refund any money for the puppy or any expenses that she would accumulate for vet bills or any other expenses but I did tell her that I would honor my contract 100% and would replace her puppy I also told her to let me know which waiting list she would like to be placed on and the puppy would be replaced I have never had an issue with any puppies produced from this or any other litter from either of the parents of this puppy (there have been litters with this set of parents) I did tell Ms [redacted] that these dogs would never be bred together again I am not in the business of breeding ill puppies I am in the business of breeding healthy happy puppies Please inform Ms [redacted] that if she would like to have her puppy replaced that I will do that for her She would need to bring the puppy back to me and let me know which litter should would like her replacement puppy to be fromAlso to address the fact that the AKC/CKC paperwork was not released to her at the time that she purchased her puppy I hold all paperwork for the puppy until it is proven to me in writing that the puppy has been spay/neutered That is something that I have always done to ensure that the puppies are altered to help control the pet population People that unknowingly breed their puppy/dog and have no idea what to do with a litter of puppies and usually end up in an animal shelter Please also inform Ms [redacted] that having breeding stock genetically test has nothing to do with AKC/CKC registration That paperwork only says that the AKC/CKC recognizes that the puppy comes from registered stock

Thank you but I am not willing to give back my puppy that I have fully grown to love

I stand behind my contact 100%.  I will replace her puppy.

To Whom It May ConcernWhen Ms [redacted] purchased her puppy it was in excellent condition.  The puppy was up to date on all age appropriate shots and de-worming and there was no issues with the puppies eyes.  The puppy was inspected by Ms [redacted] and was found to be in great condition. ...

After the puppy left my home Ms [redacted] was to have the puppy seen by a licensed Veterinary within 72 hours.  After the puppy is seen by the Veterinary I ask (in the contract that she signed) that Ms [redacted] return a copy of the vet paperwork to me so I know that the puppy has been seen and that the puppy is in good health per her choice of Veterinary.  That paperwork was never returned to me.  I didn’t receive any information until approximately 1.5-2 months later.  Her boyfriend called me to inform me that they were having an issue with the puppies eye.  He also told me that they were going to consult with an ophthalmologist to see what the next course of action would be for the puppy.  After that appointment I received a call from Ms [redacted] on January 15, 2016 and that's when Ms [redacted] asked me for a full refund for the purchase price of the puppy due to the expense that they would have getting the puppies eye fixed.  I then informed Ms [redacted] that it states in the contract (that she signed) that I do not refund any money for the puppy or any expenses that she would accumulate for vet bills or any other expenses but I did tell her that I would honor my contract 100% and would replace her puppy.  I also told her to let me know which waiting list she would like to be placed on and the puppy would be replaced.  I have never had an issue with any puppies produced from this or any other litter from either of the parents of this puppy (there have been 2 litters with this set of parents).  I did tell Ms [redacted] that these 2 dogs would never be bred together again.  I am not in the business of breeding ill puppies.  I am in the business of breeding healthy happy puppies.  Please inform Ms [redacted] that if she would like to have her puppy replaced that I will do that for her.  She would need to bring the puppy back to me and let me know which litter should would like her replacement puppy to be from. Also to address the fact that the AKC/CKC paperwork was not released to her at the time that she purchased her puppy.  I hold all paperwork for the puppy until it is proven to me in writing that the puppy has been spay/neutered.  That is something that I have always done to ensure that the puppies are altered to help control the pet population.  People that unknowingly breed their puppy/dog and have no idea what to do with a litter of puppies and usually end up in an animal shelter.  Please also inform Ms [redacted] that having breeding stock genetically test has nothing to do with AKC/CKC registration.  That paperwork only says that the AKC/CKC recognizes that the puppy comes from registered stock.
