Review: I hired a contractor by the name of Jonathan Thompson approximately 2 weeks ago to do some repairs at my residence. He completed the repairs; however, he left a huge mess of debri and other materials at my house. After several attempts at trying to get him back to my residence to clean the mess, Mr. Thompson hired three illegal aliens from the Home Depot parking lot to come to my house with a trailer at 6 pm in the evening on Thursday 10/3/2013, left them to complete the task and never returned to my residence to pay the three men who worked for hours at my house nor to remove the trash left behind from the jobs he was hired to do. Mean while the three men that were left were expecting to be paid the money they were promised and after several hours I finally convinced them they had to leave my property. I made 25+ calls to Mr. Thompson and left messages that went straight to voice mail. Finally at about 3-4 am in the morning Mr. Thompson snuck back onto my property and retrieved the trailer without my consent nor my knowledge.Mr. Thompson was hired through a service provided by Home Depot called "REDBEACON.COM." After notifying Redbeacon of the business practices of Mr. Thompson, they removed him from their services and informed them that they no longer wanted to do business with him. To my knowledge the three men were never paid for their services and I still have trash and debrie in my front yard, driveway, and backyard.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded the amount for incomplete repairs and clean up. $2724.00 which was paid to Mr. Thompson for service not rendered. In addition the cost to hire someone else to come out and clean property correctly in the amount of $600.00 + the amount that Mr. Thompson did not pay the three men who initially began clean up at my residence $330.00/ 10 per hr he promised them. For a total of $3654.00. Thank you.

I Jonathan Thompson was hired by him to complete a simple fence job which then turned into 2 other jobs that he wanted done which he agreed to. After completing the jobs I did the best I could with the resources I had to come back and clean up [redacted] property I used three of another friend of mine labor's that he uses which no they are not illegals which is wrong for [redacted] to stereotype them because they didn't speak good English. I then came back and picked up the trailer and met up with the guys to pay them for the clean up they did. I then left multiple calls and voicemails to [redacted] and his wife stating sorry for the inconvenience. The trailer I rented from Home depot could only hold a certain amount of wait and debris. I was then driving on the freeway and got a blowout on the interstate 15 on the trailer tire which I had to wait for home depot to open the following day in order to get someone out there to fix it I apologized to [redacted] letting him know I wasn't gonna be able to make it back out there that day which then returned to me a nasty text message I tried accommodating [redacted] and his wife so many times and I just couldn't please them as clients. I apologized many times there after and offered to come out and to finish cleaning up the debris which then returned in more foul texts and voicemails I tried everything I could do to help them in every way I could. I am a honest person and did everything I could do to make him happy which in the end backfired.

In response to [redacted]'s second response. First off I was being very honest with [redacted] and the things that where going on at the time. I offered many times after the first trip of removing debris from his property to come back and finished and again he sent nasty text messages to me stating that he didn't want me back at hid property. I went so far to try and please [redacted] but it just never worked and my company always keeps client satisfaction #1 but in this case I did everything I could to keep him and his wife happy and I end up with where I am at now. I am a very honest, dependable individual and I only could go so far with [redacted] everyone that helped me out was paid so of [redacted] wants to bring in something to try and make me look bad I know what I did and in the end I tried to take care of his problem.

Hello,

I am in receipt of Mr. Tompson's response to my complaint. Mr. Tompson assumes that for some reason I was not prepared to give you nor him the information that is necessary to resolve this complaint. First, I did not assume anything in regards to the three men left outside my home. I am still in contact with one of the gentlemen and I can and will give you his name and number and the information so that you can verify in fact that Mr. Tompson has not paid them for their work and that they were not documented workers. Secondly, I have the number of the gentleman who was called out to help him after he got a "blow-out" on the freeway. I also have his name and number as well as his information. The gentleman in fact was also cheated by Mr. Tompson and I am in contact with him as well. Thirdly, I still have text and voice mail messages that I sent to Mr. Tompson and at no time did I leave or text any vulgar or offensive messages to him. I simply wanted my property cleared of the mess and for him to be honest. As I stated in my initial complaint, the work that was completed was done well. I also have pictures of the mess he and his crew left behind and I iwll be forwarding those to you along with anyother information that I have at this time.
