Jones and Sons Painting and Pressure Washing

I met with [redacted] Jones on 1/11/16 to discuss repairs that I needed done around the house, which included replacing 3 light fixtures fixing 1 light fixture and repairing the dry wall in my ceiling in 2 separate places. HD estimated the cost of repairs would be $265, which I agreed to pay. On 1/13/16 I paid a $100 deposit to Mr. Jones. I did not see Mr. Jones again until 1/25/16. At that time he fully installed one light, partially installed 2 other lights, and partially patched one area in the ceiling. He also told me a very sad story about needing money to get his truck fixed and asked for the remaining $165 which I gave to him upon his promise that he would complete the project in a timely manner. Today is 2/19/16 and I have not seen Mr. Jones since that time. He has texted me on February 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 10, 17, 18, and today to say he was coming to do the work but he has never shown up. All of the above information has been documented via text message. I feel taken advantage of, Mr. Jones has told me many sad stories about how it is never his fault that the work doesn't get done and yet he refuses to give me back my money.Product_Or_Service: Repairs and installationsDesired SettlementI do not want to do business with this man, he has compromised my trust which makes me doubt the quality of his work.
