In response to the complaint Ernest *** submitted on 1/12/
Mr*** had his car in our shop for car inspection and detailed condition report and a list of things needed on the morning 1/12/we gave him a quote for repairsThe car needed a list of items some safety related and some just
preventive, he declined the work and left the shop about 10:15, he called back about an hour and a half latter and wanted the transmission serviced and wanted it done that day, We worked him in about 1:pm that day, we did the service he paid and leftHe called back about an hour stating the door did not open from the inside and we broke it! I told him to bring it back and we would look at it at his convince he insisted he wanted to know how much it would cost I told him I could not quote a price without seeing it first, he then asked how much if it needed a latch! I verbally told him $depending on parts availability but we would not do anything without a call to himHe replied he would bring it in but he did not come in!
In talking to the technicians that worked on the car they said The door worked fine and had no problem with the door operationWe have a very strong customer satisfaction rating and want to protect that but we need to see the car to evaluate the problem
