I will be clear as of the integrity of Jones Construction,  it is a huge effort to be professional and cautious of legal or unforeseen conditions to any project awarded. Because of past conflicts of design, layout, and confirmation between two parties ( owner/ Contractor ), it is standard operational procedure to have a written or drawn up plan with both parties ( owner/ Contractor), sign and date before any work begins, stated as a precaution to avoid any problems that occur later on from the project and task at hand. It is simple to confirm an agreement to have design done. most contractors will question any problems or situation that may arise. There are some overflow drain holes in the vicinity of 4 out of 5 decking's and needs to be address. Disregarding those potential hazards are violating proper over flow of water should it flood during heavy rain season and create  a problem for future owners. No unforeseen precautions need to bring that to concern, it's common sense. This complaint has become a search for reasons to find Jones Construction guilty of personal feeling's instead of negligence. It has clearly come to a state of panic of missing a deadline of selling a dwelling to be rid of responsibility and burden and I happen to be the Contractor at stake, now that the last one made it out safe?? I can and will resolve all unsatisfactory conditions. All statements should be inquired and not settled for in this case. Mahalo Ke Akua Keia poho hakaka Oki! Aloha

We here at Jones Construction have not denied to have drawings but had owner ask if we could help find a Architech to support design to be guidelines for decking at first. Upon two meetings and figuring the layout and vents below each section owner eliminated idea and said it would be a bigger...

layout as originally discussed. Having said by owner how long per section as requested we said 1 week per section later being told we said one week for entire project?! I am one man working on all my projects and could not have convinced her that one week solo will be even possible. She has had other problems with painting Contractor that she said she different situations but by no means we had anything to do with that. Furthermore ur garage baseboard repair was done by an unlicensed person and illegal alien who was hired by owner to do other jobs and had me try to repair as she said his experience was not as good or perfect as mines. Upon finishing baseboard repair and starting trim removal on door the day was late so could not be done . Next day arriving later in the day she had a change of plans to not do extra work and started to tell me how to do the decking project and have materials delivered by vendor other Contractor suggested to do. When told I will handle the issue, an outburst of frustration and saying things we never or I never said made the situation worsts. In the beginning she wanted project drawn up and couldn’t get no one so we requested a drawing for the decking to be safe and not get told design is wrong and save time and Labor redoing it we said a draftsman or Jones Construction can make a design she has to confirm and sign to begin work. After three emails with no response she finally said to return deposit and material deposit!? We are not being compensated for our services rendered and have said a 25 % of total bid is required for signed contract cancellation and labor for other services we have done up to this point! None of the statements to which she said we would finish in one week or she never wanted design drawings to have guidelines is true. I have a text to my Architech person  asking of his availability and his referral person in his message. She wants to sell her estate by June which gave me a fair amount of time to complete project and she agreed it could work out. She has become twisted in her statement against Jones Construction and is trying to put a bad rap because she could not get me to let her tell me what to do. It’s not fair on my part to let her be in charge of the project that will have a liability impact should I let that happen!! If we contractors let the clients do that then what is the need for contractors? A legal contract was signed and no work was allowed because of a change of mind, not a contractor who didn’t perform! Work was halted because of weather and distractions were created! Now a legal action against the company is at hand when noting was even started?! We don’t see a reason to be excepting this type of behavior from unstable customers who don’t want contracts to be breached because they can’t get the contractor to listen to their plan and be in charge when the contractors intent is to be following the plans from the beginning. She has not communicated for the drawings and now she wants to pull out because she knows she had to pay for draftsman and not want to permit her project! We will be aware of the Revdex.com helping resolve or an arbitrator get involved. Both parties have signed and both sides have agreed. Jones Construction has services done and has to be compensated for services rendered!

After speaking to the customer about the review he sent to the Revdex.com, I went over my recollection of the conversation we had upon return of the vehicle to us and the inconsistencies that lie between the review and our recollection. He agreed that the conversation we had had been misrepresented in his...

review. Below I will lay out what the customer then and I agreed was discussed that day:After speaking with our inspection station who had just finished up with the state trooper the customer called, they expressed that, they can not remember the exact car as they inspect multiple vehicles an hour, but that is not something they have ever missed before. After two shops go over a car for safety inspection, it’s typically a safe bet that they both don’t miss the same thing. Although it is said in the review that the switch was not there on the test drive, it was never mentioned until they decided they didn’t want the car anymore. The state trooper deemed that there was nothing that should not have been inspected or sold.Although there were a few minor oil leaks (as there typically will be on a 19 year old vehicle) there was no noticeable change in any of the fluids even when the customer stated they did not refill any of them. The battery in the vehicle was weak, and even though there were no starting issues upon the purchase of this “as is” vehicle we would be more than happy to put one in for them at no cost if they would supply the battery. After the customer explained that they were having a family emergency and might have some major and unexpected bills coming through, they expressed that they would not be able to afford the car payment, all repairs aside. We offered to hold the vehicle for 21 days to see if they could get their finances straightened out to keep the car, and if they could not, we would not hold them responsible for the remainder of the debt. Both parties agreed that that was more than fair, and after they asked for their down payment back, they were told that we typically don't do that, since the cars are “as is” and there is no return policy.I was shocked when I read the account that was given in the review and when I asked him why there were the divergence from what we had actually discussed, he explained that he was trying to get his money back because he was spending money he didn’t have on something else. That, however, is no excuse for changing the truth and slandering anyone on the internet and who knows where else.
