Jones & Cooper Home Inspections Reviews (3)

As I stated in the letter below sent previously, you did not give our company an opportunity to investigate any of your allegations. According to you the major cost was replacing the heat pump which the inspection report plainly states to have a HVAC company to evaluate due to the age
and condition at the time of the inspection. Regarding the shower leaking, it was not leaking at the inspection which the inspector runs the water for at least minutesOur agreement states the terms and conditions to file a complaint which is days from when first occurred and you stated it occurred on 9/1/and did not call our office until 11/30/

*** *** *** *** *** After reading the list of issues you stated in your email and reviewing the inspection report, I find *** did a very thorough inspection on your homeSome things were marked to be evaluated and others were satisfactory at the time of the inspection back in JuneOur inspection agreement is very clear on the steps to be taken if something was missed at the inspectionSince your calls were made to the warranty company and not ***, we can only assume these items were not missed by our inspector and our experience has been warranty claims will not be honored if they were pre-existing or installed incorrectly Since we did not have the opportunity to evaluate any of these items, we can not refund your inspection fee at this time

In regards to Mrs*** complaint, it's been two years since the initial home inspection took place and we are just now being notified that the air conditioner isn't working. The $1,cost of repairing the fumes escaping to the garage has never been reported to us by this consumer, but
it is stated in the inspection report two years ago to have this repaired. It plainly states in our agreement that out inspectors don't dismantle any components and if the air conditioner is cooling properly at the time of the inspection, that is what we report. We have been in contact with this consumer and have located the HVAC installer that installed the unitThis unit is only years old and was just installed before they purchased the home. The installer is in contact with the ***'s and appears to want to correct the situationHopefully this can be resolved to everyone's satisfaction. It's unfortunate that Mrs*** took to social media to complaint about our company before even contacting us
