Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
First, let me state that I most certainly have insurance on my vehicle and to state a blatant lie like that is unacceptableI understand that things can happen in a situation such as thisHowever, the issue is not that the windows were broke, that would be an easy fixbut the driver destroyed the frame for the sunroof, which in my opinion is totally his responsibilityHe also completely bent the frame of the passenger windowThat DID NOT happen because of the accidentI have video and pictures of thatHe stated after he chained the vehicle up that he couldn't find his wooden block to put under the vehicleAt that point he asked myself and several other people there to help him push up the vehicleObviously we could not do thatHe then said "let me try something else" he got in his vehicle, backed up, and drove the back of his truck into the sunroofThat is my issue with this situationHe admitted he didn't have all the materials he neededHe also had a child with him running around the sceneI understand these things happenHowever, its one thing to bust out a couple of windows , its quite another thing to completely destroy framesI called the company to discuss this issue and I ended up with people on speaker phone with me talking loudly at me , being rude, and first he tried to say the window was already brokeOnce I said I had video, he back tracked and said these things happenThe entire thing was unprofessional and not handled very well at allI tried to have a calm discussion and that didn't work out so wellOn top of that I paid them $after they caused over $more in damage then what the actual accident cost

This is in response to a letter that we received from you regarding [redacted].  We have been in business for 30 years and member of the Revdex.com for many years.  We have been in the towing and recovery industry for all of those 30 years.  I am the only driver of the tow...

truck and I am very experienced when it comes to towing and recovery.  I am certified in light, medium and heavy duty towing & recovery by the National Towing & Recovery Association of Kentucky.  People understand that there are two types of services.  One is called towing, which is when the vehicle simply has mechanical problems or has been in a “fender-bender”.  The other type is called a recovery, which is when a vehicle has been involved in a major accident or has rolled or flipped over.  The customer, [redacted], would be recovery because her vehicle had flipped onto the passengers side. (Photo Included)  We always take photos of any tow or recovery for our protection.  With that being said, anytime you flip a vehicle back over there is always the risk of glass busting especially on the side that it has been flipped on because the initial impact from the flip has already compromised/weakened the glass.  When a vehicle has rolled or flipped there is no guarantee that in the process of flipping the vehicle back over there will not be more damage.  There is always that possibility but we try our hardest not to damage the vehicle anymore than it all ready has been but the tow company is not responsible if more damage occurs in a recovery.  When doing a normal tow, where the vehicle is upright and has not rolled or flipped, no damage should occur at all and if it does then the tow company is responsible to pay for the repair. In my many years as a towing & recovery specialist I have never turned in a claim for towing or recovery.  When you have young drivers that so easily distracted by cell phones and other things these days you need to have the insurance that is required by the state.  In the case of Ms. [redacted], she did not have any insurance at all.  I believe that is another reason why she is trying to get my company to pay for the damages to her vehicle.  All the damage is on the passengers side which is the window that she is trying to get my company to pay for.   We deal with all of the police and fire departments and several major insurance companies like [redacted] & many others.  We also have road side assistance.  I am also a Certified National Responder.  I do not think that my company should have to pay for any damages to her vehicle.   Please feel free to call and speak with me, [redacted] or my assistant [redacted] if you have any question or need further assistance. Thank You[redacted]
